Our new member, the one I’ve been hearing about, turns out to be Lauren Thanos. I’m surprised by this but I’m quick to hide it. The girls are pleased to have her. Apparently, Lauren is popular with the sorority girls from both houses. On top of that, she’s a natural talent. She passes trial with ease.
Tessa and Jane show up for practice and it’s a tense affair, with everyone looking between us, watching to see who’s going to be the first one to stir up trouble.
Thankfully, everyone keeps their claws hidden and we have a drama-free practice. There’s a hockey game coming up and we have a routine to perfect. Lauren gets a hang of the steps on the first try and I have no choice but to make some rotations, putting her in front.
No one objects to the rotations. Not even Tessa.
