Unexplainable Love.

the next morning I woke up late due to tiredness so i just brushed my mouth, took my bath, prepared indomie and fry egg for breakfast, I quickly rushed my food, put on some nice outfit then I left the house.

stopped a bike, told me where he would take me to, but unfortunately he did not know the area so I stopped another bike, immediately he knew the place before I finished explaining to him so less than one hour thirty minutes I arrived at my destination. I paid the bike man then he left,

while I was standing there I saw some enticing things to buy like; fruits, snacks, food etc. I tried to resist the feeling of buying but I could not because I ended up buying cucumber and fruit salad. after I finished buying I became satisfied but the problem I had was that I had forgotten the main house address my girlfriend told me on the phone.

well I felt it was not a thing of worry because I can call her to tell me the address again since technology has made life easier for human daily activities. I called but it kept saying “not reachable at the moment”.

I sat down at the fruit seller's store to wait and see if my luck would speak for me , few minutes later I tried again and she picked up the call. I quickly explained to her because I did not have enough recharge card on my phone, after all the talk and explanation I later located the apartment with the help of the fruit seller's young boy. out of joy and appreciation for what the boy did for me I gave he #500 naira

few minutes later my close friend came to pick me up from the gate, immediately we saw ourselves we screamed, hugged and laughed at each other. after all that we entered her house, the moment I entered I was speechless for some minutes then regained consciousness again. I turned to her direction and said to her “ wow, you don blow oh”. at first she laughed before she said “ hmm, well by God's grace we are who we are”. I looked at the way she acted so casually about the statement.

after much pleasantries I settled in then she offered me some fruit juice and baked fish pie, I ate the snacks in a stylish way because I don't want her to look down on me like am still that foodie back then in school but the truth is I am actually still a foodie and to be sincere most of my character upgraded. “ how is your life, family and everything else about you doing because it's been long we talked to each other, I think the last time we saw and spoke to each other should be after my divorce” I said waiting for her response and she responded saying “ hmm, am good nothing much has happened except just that I am finally a mother of twins” and ended her conversation with excitement about her twins. I quickly jumped into the excitement that she created.

I asked her that where are the kids now and what are there names and gender then she said “ there names are princebell and Mirabell, the both of them are of different gender which is a boy and a girl but they are not in the country as we speak they stay with their father in America in new York city, if not that you called earlier about your coming to my house, you not have meet me here”.

“ am so happy for you Edith and your family at least you are lucky to have been blessed with such an happy story on like my own that has so many life errors that am trying to correct”. I said with joy for my friend and a little bit of sadness for myself.

after she has said a lot about herself she then ask me if am back in the game of looking for the right man, I laughed at first then became shy. immediately she knew I have someone in my life, she then asked me to narrate my life experience.

“ well I am not seeing anyone it's just that I saw a guy at the gym, we meet accidentally but now we are just friends but now to crown it up that my paddie Emmanuel just came into the picture after how many years of disconnection and my fear is that I feel like he wants to ask me out and I don't want that because of what happened during school, I have known him to be a player but this my new found guy from the gym is giving me green light about his feeling's”.

I continued saying “ not like he has asked me out already but I can feel the sensation from him, infact when we are together I feel him more than I feel Emmanuel so right now am just thinking of dating them both until I know the right one for me and the one ready for marriage because am not getting any younger”.

I concluded waiting for her response which took her like five minutes to give me a reply “ well since it's what you want to go for then am solidly besides you but my only advice it's that do not have s*x with them so that these men coming your way can hurry up to marry you just because they want to have a taste of you”. she concluded with that, when I checked my time it was already 4:00 pm. we rounded up our discussion because it's time for me to go home and I don't like night driving.

before I could depart she gave me transport of #20,000 thousand naira, I felt happy and ashamed of myself because she looked so rich and gorgeous, like her life is just great. finally before I left I gave her the package I brought for which was small but to my greatest surprise something happened.
