Part 15 : The Truth

"Cailly" A male voice called my name, I know who own that voice, Benjamin

I tried to look at him but I winced when I saw a few pieces of wood in my shoulders.

"Cai!" Alicia exclaimed

"Cailly!" Calix shouted, running towards me. I check on Alicia for any injuries. I sigh in relief to see nothing.

"Are you hurt? Are you okay?" I ask Alicia, she shook her head.

"I am fine, Thanks to you. But you are injured." She said in worried tone. I shook my head.

"I am fine."

"Baby, I have to take the woods to your skin, so you'll heal." I nodded. "Just make it fast."

He took out almost ten pieces of small woods, I bit back my lips to not scream in pain but letting out a small gasps every time he took a piece.

"What a show" Benjamin spat, disgust. "Are you done? Let this get over." He raised his right hand "Take Cailly and Alicia, kill the others, I don't need them."

"Over my dead body!" I spat, mad. The rogues lunge to us. We are obviously outnumbered against them but I don't care.

"Earl! Keep Alicia safe! Lori, Rose. Come with them!" I command in my alpha voice.

"We can't leave you here!" Earl protest, killing every rogue that come near them.

"I can handle myself! You have to keep Alicia safe!" I yelled at him. "Now, GO!"

"Yes, Alpha!" He grab Alicia's hand and ran towards the back door, Lori and Rose in tow. I stay behind them to clear their way, I can see, Calix and the others fighting with the rogues, once they step outside the house, ten rogues are growling.

"Cai!" I heard Rose screamed my name, I lunge at the wolf running towards me, snapping his neck.

I ran towards the exit and jump on top of them shifting in my wolf form. I grab the wolf's neck and snap his neck, the other rogues step back, I tilted my head to Earl's direction signaling them to leave.

"Go!" I yelled thru mind-link. And on cue, they took off and the rogues follows them but not taking a step they died, Flipping, breaking and snapping bones filling the air. I saw Earl take Alicia and girls in the secret passage of our basement behind the cell building. No one knows about that except our family and beta's and third's.

As soon as they got in. And safe.

"Don't leave her side." I ordered Earl and he response in agreement. I make my way back to the pack house, Calix and the others doing great even if they are outnumbered.

I ran towards them but my way got block with none other than Benjamin his self.

"Hello niece. I guess you're ready to come. I'll just come back here for Alicia, now I'm taking you with me." He smirked, I let out a loud growl at him, I saw Calix run towards us and I lunge at Benjamin, but before I can take a step, I feel my head spin and dizzy. I stumbled in my feet, I am still in my wolf form, I growled at him and feel my eyes blur. A stinging pain felt in my fur, I take to look at it and saw an empty syringe.

Shifting in my human form.

"What did you do?!" I snarl at him, I hold the nearest table or chair to balance my feet.

"Nothing Cai." He walk towards me and caress my face. I yanked his hands away, he gives my face a hard slap making me fall on the other side of the room, I whimper and trying to stand up but my head is giving in. A black dot forming in my eyes.

I saw Calix lunge at Ben.

"Calix." The last word I had to say before darkness consumed me.

I woke up in my throbbing head, I winced when I tried to move my head.

I open my eyes just to be greeted by a light, I groaned in pain. I shut my eyes tight, I tried to move my hands but rather I screamed in pain. My hands are tied in a cuff made of silvers, I burning skin fills my nostrils, my blood mixing on it.

"I really hate silver." I muttered, disgust.

I tried to open my eyes again, adjusting from the bright light of the room, once I can bare the pain, I roamed my eyes around the room I am in.

It's white all over, white tiled floor, walls and ceilings are white with bright florescent light hung in the in every corner of the room, I, seated in a chair, my hands are tied with silver cuff and so my foot. I smirked. "Clever" I spat to myself.

"I know." A male voice said coolly as he enter the room with a smug look in his face. I glared at him but in my shock, my eyes widen and mouth slightly ajar.

"Daddy?" I said in a low voice, unbelievable.

"No. You imbecile. I am not your father" He chuckles humorless. Yep, he's not dad but they are very alike.

As if hearing my thoughts. "I'm his twins, unfortunately." He shrugs.

"Uncle Mart?"

"Yes, Cailly, niece" he said in a mock

"B-but y-you a-are d-dead." I muttered unbelievably. He let out a hearty laugh.

"Oh. Cailly sweetie, you aren't born when I fake my death, you wouldn't understand, but maybe you would now, aren't you?" He trailed his index finger in my jawline. I yanked him away, he grab my jaw hardly making me look at him.

"Do you know how beautiful you are? I won't hurt you if you tell me what's your hidden strength, shall we?" He stated more on a command.

"Where's my brother?" I ask instead of answering him.

"Oh! Sam, he's tough guy, isn't he? He manage to escape and save his mate, good thing we caught him back, I didn't need his mate, even if she's pregnant." He chuckle. So am I.

"Dina once said that when Sam found his mate, completing the mate process, got her pregnant. His gift will be transferred to his child. You aren't get the background check, aren't you?" I spat distastefully. I whimpered in pain when he slapped my face hard, I spit out a metallic taste of my blood, my lips is swollen from his hit. I shrugged my shoulders.

"You b***h! Where did you take Alicia?!" He yelled.

"Surely away from you, even if you asked your dogs to sniff around my territory, you wouldn't have the chance to find her. Since I became the Alpha of our pack, I made changes in my pack lands." I said proudly, once again this time he punched me making me fall from the ground. I cried out in pain when the stinging silver pulled tight in my wrists and ankles, the burning skin flared in the air.

"I awe you a story, I guess." He pulled me by settling me in my chair.

"It happens when Mike, my twins and your father was appointed to be the Alpha of supposedly my pack, I deserve the pack more than him. Then when your mother came to picture, She used to be mine at first, but your father claimed her to be his mate!" He clenched his fist in a tight ball, I remained silent.

"I accepted the fact that they we're mates, no one can intervene or protest the mates, because that's the moon goddess plan." He spat, hatred filling his voice.

"Don't you have your mate?" I ask dumbfounded, he laugh humorless.

"I had but I only want your mom. She's the most beautiful woman I had ever laid my eyes off. She's a picture of a perfect woman for me so I killed my mate and that's how I killed myself, which is obviously faked. Staying on the shadow, I saw how they have Sam, and the you." He ran his eyes in my whole. He smirked.

"The day you left just to stay with Black Stone pack, I started to fulfill my plan. And that day came when your parents came to fetch you. Do you remember that day? I saw you laughing with this young boy before you left that pack, having a happy road trip with your parents."

I swallowed hard, I can feel my heart skipped it's beat and I can hardly breath. I am sweating hard as I remember exactly what had happened that day.

"Your father took care a ten rogues, your mom took five, they keep fighting just to save you. But once one of my men got a hold on you--" He laughed as if he remember something that makes him happy.

"They run towards you, both of them are easily taken when they saw you straddling for your dear life."

I'm crying continuously as I think of my mom and dad. I can still remember their faces, the horror and scared for me. I used to blame myself for their death but Sam and Dina assured me that it's not my fault but he said it.

"It's your fault why they die. Right? It's your fault why they are not here anymore. It's your fault, Cailly." He spat putting a firmed tone in each word.

It's my fault. I keep on repeating the word in my head. I knew I am crying, I can feel my heart aching, remembering mom and dad died because of me. It's all my fault.

It's my fault...

"When they died, I can easily have the chance to take your pack under my control, but Sam took over. I let Benjamin take you away so I can handle Sam, I can kill him when you're gone. You just have successfully killed all the rogues I sent for you back when you're still in Los Angeles, but now, you can't escape anymore and if Sam died, it's your fault too."

I've been so down on my own trance, I can hear Mart mumbling words but can't hear him clearly , ignoring the world around me. Just my parents faces, I saw clearly how they died. They're trying to save me.

It's all my fault.
