Chapter 2 ~Chunin Exams: Part One~

-CHUNIN EXAMS-

It's already the day when we'll take the Chunin Exams!! Oh my fudge! I'm so excited! At the present time, I'm kinda' walking in a some kind of hall, or something, with my team. My eyes caught sight of a bunch of baby ninjas gathered in front of a door. I also saw a girl getting kicked by a boy in front of the door like he, along with his friend, is a kind of higher-up or something. Then, I noticed Sasuke's kick being stopped by Lee all of a sudden, too. Woah! Time sure is fast, huh.

Back to reality again! I did some handsigns and poof! The sign returned back to its right one, completely removing the illusion or something that was casted by the two. Izumo and Kotetsu turned back to normal as well. They simply stared at me, astonished.

Okay~!! I'm fabulous~!

-SECONDS LATER-

I saw Lee expectedly proposing to Sakura. Time to enter and butt in the scene again!! Ever since I watched the anime series Naruto, I've obviously been having my own opinions and complains about some particular events that happened in it. And of course, I wanna' let it all out~!!

"I'm Rock Lee! Sakura-chan, will you be my girlfriend?"

"What?! Eew! No way!"

I suddenly appeared in front of Sakura and Lee...... Me and my awesome skills~!! *sparkles of awesomeness sparkling around me*

"Sakura, that is not a nice way to disagree if someone is proposing to you, you know."

"But just look at that bushy eyebrows of his!"

"Woah! Calm down, Billboard-brow."

"Ugh!"

"Hey, Rock Lee!"

"Yes? May I help you, Miss?"

"You can call me Rinn."

"Okay. What is it, Rinn-chan?" I suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind Lee, whispering something to him.

"Don't worry! I'm a great match-maker! You can treat her to some ramen and I will be there to guide for sure!"

"What if she disagrees?"

"Don't worry! I have a plan!"

"Are you sure that your plan will work?"

"Of course! Trust me!"

"Okay, Rinn-chan! I will let you handle this!" I can literally see the word determination in his eyes again. Lol.

'What did I put myself into? Daaaaagnamit'! I don't even have a plan! Sorry, Rock Lee! I just did that to cheer you up! Huhuhu!!'

I slowly walked towards my team, you know, the I-am-seriously-so-fudging-awesome-and-literally-too-lazy-and-has-the-whole-world-carried-on-my-back slowness, and saw Neji and Tenten scolding Lee for showing his skills. Anyway, back to the incident. I glanced at my surroundings and noticed all of them, including Izumo and Kotetsu, still staring at me. How many minutes have passed already? Whatever. I just shrugged my shoulders and ignored the weird feeling given to me by the eyes around my awesome self. Being bipolar, I revealed a fudgy smirk.

"This isn't the right place. You've been fooled." I said proudly, and walked towards the room where we should be right after, like nothing just happened.

-SECONDS LATER-

Now, I'm here inside the room full of scary-looking ninjas. Nahh. At the present time, Ino is having a little arguement with Sakura while her arm is around Sasuke's neck, Choji is eating chips as usual, Naruto is currently saying that he's not afraid of them, Kiba is playing with Akamaru, Shikamaru is randomly being the lazy pineapple-head, Sasuke is being the emo duck-butt, Shino is being.... Well... Shino, Hinata is trying to say Hi to Naruto, and last but not the least, Me..... I'm staring at Gaara. Let's insert hearts everywhere~!!

"Hahahha! I will beat you all!" I yelled with all my guts while pointing a finger at the scary-looking ninjas. You sure are scary, but you won't easily scare the awesome Rinn!!

"Stop being noisy. They are already pissed off, you know." Kabuto said, appearing out of nowhere. Then, he took out some cards. I dunno' what those are called, I mean, I forgot what those are called. Blah blah blah. Kabuto is promoting his cards and whatever. Sasuke is currently looking at the information or details about Rock Lee and Gaara-chan.

"Hey hey! Kabuto-chan! Try making one of your cards show my skills and details!" I said excitedly while jumping up and down. He just nodded and using his index and middle finger, he tapped the card. It poofed and I saw....

"Name.... Rinn. Location.... Village Hidden in the Leaves. Skills.... Unknown?!" I read out loud. The cards can't even tell anything about me or how awesome I am or how great of a ninja I am?! That's just.... Awww!!

"How come I am such a mystery?!" I yelled in frustration, randomly pulling my hair. He just shrugged his shoulders though.

-SECONDS LATER-

Kabuto was attacked, but before the Sound ninjas can even reach him, I already appeared in front of him and screamed really really loud.

"SOUND NINJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!!!!!" It was very loud that they even covered their ears and closed their eyes to try and block my voice.

"What the...?" Zaku asked.

Zaku, Kin, and Dosu! Yay! I finally saw them in person! Hurray!!

"Dosu, that is not a very good way to greet your fellow ninjas! Attacking other ninjas without permission will seriously put you in a really biiiiiiiig trouble!" I scolded in a playful manner while rapidly swinging my index finger side-to-side, signaling NO, like a some kind of mother.

Silence. They all stared at me AGAIN. Am I that awesome or am I just that awesome?

Oh! Kabuto's glasses are saved! They are not broken at all! And his ears are not bleeding! I'm totally awesome!!

"Ahem. Anyway, you can go back to where you are awhile ago, Sound ninjas.... Because Ibiki-sensei is about to arrive!"

"Booooom!" I exclaimed cheerfully as the door opened..... Wait.... Door or wall? They did their entrance with an explosion and are currently blocking the thing behind them!! How would I know where they entered then? Nahh. Maybe it was a teleportation technique. Anyway, Ibiki-sensei and other Chunins/Jounins, or whatever, stood in front of us. I zoned out, obviously knowing what will happen next.

-MINUTES LATER-

I sighed, looking at the piece of paper I'm holding at the very moment. I can't understand this! Every single word is written in Japanese! Ugh! I've been wanting to know what makes this exam so hard when I watched the series but..... It's written in a different language!! I didn't even think of learning Japanese language even if I love to watch anime series because there are subtitles anyway!

After the commotion in my head, I wrote my name above the line in the upper part of the exam, knowing that this is the place where to write our names. Of course, there are a few similarities of this exam to a normal exam back in my own world and country. It's just translated in a different language, but the format of the exam wasn't touched at all. They also cannot understand what I've written.

I wrote Rinn using my own font and English language, and their names are written in japanese soooo..... Yahh.

Getting bored, I decided to draw something on the back of the paper, which is luckily a simple blank space, just to pass time.

-SECONDS LATER-

Look! It's Mokona from the anime series Magic Knights Rayearth!! Ever heard of that? Anyway, I drew the other characters, too, and hey! Did I even tell you that I am sitting BESIDE Gaara-chan? Well, now I did. That's not all, I am also sitting beside a girl. She has beautiful aqua blue eyes and pretty dark green shoulder-length hair. It somehow resembles a forest and her unique features suit her perfectly. She is wearing a simple dark blue crop top, which stops right above her belly button, a simple black jacket, which is zipped open, a pair of shorts, just like Sasuke's, but is dark blue and a little shorter. It stops just above her knees. Her hands are bandaged, too. She is wearing a black choker, just like Haku's, but a little thinner, around her neck. As for her footwear, she's using a pair of simple black ninja sandals. A cute red hair clip, which is designed as a rose, is clipped above her right ear.... And..... She. Is. So..... Perfectly gorgeous!

Oh! Before I completely forget, her forehead protector is tied around her right thigh, just above her weapon pouch. It symbolizes.... Wait, it looks kinda' familiar. She is from Iwagakure! The Village Hidden by Rocks! That was the place where Deidei was living before.

Back to reality. I didn't realize that only a few us are left! I'm also just staring at her like a creep. She looked at me and her face immediately turned red. Aw! Gosh!! How cute! I'm gonna' adopt her one day!

Anyway, someone tapped my shoulder and I looked behind me just to see......

Ibiki-sensei!!!

I gulped and gave him a fake close-eyed smile. He just gave me a threatening glare and walked passed me.

Hoo!! That was close!

I released a long sigh of relief and wiped the invisible sweat from my forehead. After the random event, I zoned out right when Ibiki started talking about the tenth question..... But unfortunately, I accidentally fell asleep.

-RINN'S DREAM WORLD-

I woke up in a some kind of hallway. Woah!! Did I teleport or something?!

"Ugh.... Where am I?" I asked myself while looking around the weird and strange place. I stiffened when my ears suddenly caught a dark and cold laughter behind me. I immediately turned around and saw the same man from my other dream. Oh.... So, this is just another dream. No need to panic.

That was the same man who wanted to kill me back then! Pfft! Hahahaha! Good luck in doing that, dream boy~!!

"Nice seeing you again, Rinn." The way he said my name makes me shiver. He's creepily talking to me like he's real even though he's seriously not and is just a part of my nightmare. My thoughts about his creepiness and weirdness were cut off when I heard a bloodcurdling scream. I turned around once again.... And saw a very familiar face.

"Annie....."

I saw her there..... Lying on the ground......... Dead. Her current figure is so much worse than what she looked like in the car accident. She is right there with ropes tied around her hands and feet, knives pierced through her stomach, and an ice sword.... No...... Not any ordinary ice sword.... MY ice sword...... It's pierced through her chest, exactly where the heart is located. Her eyes are also wide open and she is covered in blood. She is in a pool of blood. Her own blood. Her body is full of cuts, bruises, burns, and wounds.

She is one of a bloody mess. It's like she got brutally tortured than got mixed up in a car accident.

'What the fudge happened to her?!'

I just stared with my mouth wide open and tears flowing down my face. A terrifying scream escaped from me and I backed away in horror.

Annie..... She was my classmate last year. We were bestfriends. She was the very first person who approached me when I started to study in my new school. Right before our Christmas vacation, she died because of a car accident. Her parents died and her little sister was the only one who survived the accident. She was on the way to a nearby mall, along with her family, to buy some presents because we promised that we would exchange gifts before our vacation, but instead of getting my gift from her.... The horrible news greeted me. No one could save her and her parents. They were dead before they could even reach the hospital. The accident was brutal. A truck crashed right on their vehicle. It was sure a miracle for her sister to survive.

Okay. I got a bit too far. Let's go back to the present time.

I bumped onto a some kind of body, causing me to automatically look behind me. There, I saw the same man from before. Simply remembering the sight my eyes caught is making me throw up.

"Do you like my art?" The man asked with a creepy grin and I just screamed once more, closing my eyes in the process.

The coldness suddenly disappeared and I snapped my eyes open. Naruto, who is currently in front of me, greeted me with a concerned face. Beside him are Sasuke and Sakura. I didn't realize that I'm already crying and sweating so fudgin' hard until now. I'm breathing heavily, too.

That dream.... No. Nightmare. Nahh...... Maybe daymare? Anyway, that dream.....

Maybe it meant something.

Naruto's POV

Awhile ago, I was making my long speech when I suddenly heard a bloody scream that literally made me jump. I looked where the scream came from and saw that it was Rinn.

She is sweating and crying hard. Actually, she was just there, napping and all, but she suddenly did that. I noticed everyone switch their attention from the exams to her. Of course, I ran towards my sister and tried to wake her up, but she just cried and cried and cried.

She suddenly screamed again, and that made me more worried.

"Rinn, wake up!!!" I yelled while shaking her. She opened her eyes and those blue orbs reveal nothing but fear.

What was she dreaming about?!

"Rinn, it's okay. It's just a dream." I said in a soothing way, trying to calm her down. She hugged me tight and buried her face on my shoulder.

"Shhh.... Shhh...... It's okay. It's okay. I'm here." I said while lightly patting her back.

Ugh. It's like we are putting a some kind of show here, eh?

Rinn's POV

Ugh! I'm like a baby! Why can't I just stop the tears?! I kept on crying and crying until.....

CRASH!!

Anko arrived, destroying the window in the process.

"Anko, early as always." Ibiki said, who is behind the poster Anko made, or whatever you call it. She just blushed a little from embarassment, but immediately got over it.

"Alright! Listen up, you maggots! I'm Anko Mitarashi! Your second proctor for the second stage of the Chunin Exams!" I hiccuped, wiping my tears away. Forget about it.

My fear slowly got replaced by excitement.

'Forget about that now. That man is nothing but an ugly maggot.' I thought, slowly smiling.

Anyway, this is going to be fun!

Forest of Death, here I come!!
