Before I could complain, the motorcycle surged forward. I let out an involuntary squeal and tightened my grip around him as the school parking lot disappeared behind us, the cool evening wind rushing past while the city lights blurred into streaks of gold and white. The sensation was unlike anything I had ever experienced. The motorcycle cut through the evening traffic, the cool wind crashing into us from every direction.
