LUNAR LOVE

My birthday pt. 3

JOHN

       While we were decorating and finishing getting everything ready for the party, I smelled the most incredible smell of honey hit my nose and I knew it had to be my mate. I followed where the smell was coming from and it took me to Katies room. When I got up there and saw her everything that I was going to say left my head. Then I heard Sarah say something to me, so I told her the first thing that came to my head, “mom told me to tell you to come downstairs so the party cold start”. She told me to tell her that she would be down after she got dressed. I told her okay, then looked at Katie told her hey and walked back downstairs. As I was walking downstairs, I said to myself “really all you could say was hey”. I finally got downstairs and went to my mom and told her I found my mate. She was excited and asked who and if I said something to her. I told her who it was then I told her that I only said hey and I will wait for her to find out about the bond. My mom said okay, and we started celebrating Sarah and I’s birthday. 

SARAH

      When I got downstairs the party was in full swing, so I just found my parents and went over to them. We were all walking around talking to people as they wished us happy birthday and then started talking to other people in small groups. Katie walked up to me and we started talking then I saw John walk over to us and she told him happy birthday I saw him shyly blush say thanks and then walked over to Timothy. I asked Katie what that was about and when she told me she did not know, I figured it could’ve only been one thing and told her I would talk to her later. I went and found my brother and asked him if Katie was his mate, when he realized what I just asked him he spit of his drink and asked if it was that obvious. I told him not to her, but I was able to figure it out. I saw that he was getting nervous, so I told him not to and that I was happy for him, but I also warned him not to hurt my friend. He told me that he wouldn’t and that he actually liked her, so I got excited my brother is finally growing up. Later we all sat down to eat, and I was sitting in between John and Timothy and I couldn’t be happier that I had my mate right next to me I just knew tonight was going to be amazing. After dinner we all went outside so Jacob and I could do our transformation we usually would not do this but since I was future Luna the Alpha suggested that we do and when we were in wolf form we ran through the woods and it was like I was finally free. I felt the wind flowing through my fur and I grew this incredible bond with the nature and the pack. As the party was winding down Timothy took me outside so he could give me my gift, it was a heart locket with my name on the bottom of it and he told me I now have his heart don’t lose it I laughed and told him that it was corny but I loved it. He gave me another kiss and then we held hands as we walked back into the packhouse. When the party was over he walked me up to my room gave me a goodnight kiss and told me he would see me tomorrow that night I went to sleep with the biggest smile on my face and I knew my life was going to be great.
