THE NEXT DAY

      When Sarah left to go get more snacks it seemed like something in my head opened up and I felt something moving around. I thought to myself it must be my wolf and I heard him say yes Timothy I am here and my name is Lewis I said back hi Lewis nice to finally meet you and he said same to you now let’s get ready because you have a very busy day today. As I was walking to my room, I smelled the most amazing scent I have ever smelled in my life. It was like a smell of roses and lilies, and I had to go see where the smell was coming from. When I got to the kitchen, I saw her, Sarah was standing there putting delicious food together and all my werewolf could say was mate and then I felt him jumping and wagging his tail in my head I hurried and went to my room so she wouldn’t catch me there staring at her. When I got to my room I slouched behind the door and said I can’t believe it Sarah is my mate the girl I have secretly loved all my life is actually my mate. I jumped when I heard my werewolf say well why didn’t you go to our mate. I told him you scared me I forgot you was there I have to get use to you, but because I don’t want to just blurt out and say you are my mate I want her to get the full experience of being able to find out who it is then I want to give her the choice of if she wants to be with me or not I heard him say of course she wants to be with you she is our mate and I thought for a second true but I still do not want to take the joy away from her. Later that day it was time for my party, and everyone was starting to arrive, soon I would transition into my wolf and began the steps of taking over the pack from my father. I have been dreaming of this day my entire life and it is finally here I am ready. We are about to go outside so I can have my very first shift I am ready to see what my wolf looks like. Everyone gather around I heard my father say today is the day where the Alpha to be will do his first transition, and then we can start the talks about him taking over role of becoming the Alpha we have talked with him about what he will feel and what to do for the past two years and today he will complete his first shift and we will run through the woods as a pack. At this time, I would like elder Mathis to come up here and say a few words. After the elder finished talking everyone backed up so I could make my first shift. As it began I started to feel pain taking over my body as my bones started popping and breaking and my face starting elongating into my snout as I went from man to wolf as I was transforming I smelled the smell I was thinking about the whole day and I knew my mate was out there in the crowed, and after a while the pain went away and saw my furry paws I howled and everyone turned into their wolves and then we took off through the woods. When we got back to the house everyone started congratulating me and we ate and partied for my birthday.
