Mrs Jensen was so engrossed in what she was staring at in the magazine and also the phone call she was making.
But as she got to the last stairs, she looked up from the magazine and we locked gaze.
I could see the confused expression on her face as soon as our eyes met.
"Hold on, I'll call you back" She said to whoever she was talking to and then walked up to me.
She still has the same look on her face whenever she stares at me... Irritation, that's just it.
It's almost as if my existence was a crime.. I shouldn't exist, but even for a second.
Just like my mother cut all ties with me because I chose Caleb, Mrs. Jensen never approved of our marriage but she had no choice since her precious son wanted it.
