I didn't want to believe I'd actually heard it correctly but a part of me wanted to confirm it so badly.
Turning back, I found Caleb, hands intertwined with Alessia. As always, she was looking so breath taking.. That is probably the reason why Caleb chose her.
"Where do you think you're going Kaia?" It was from Alessia.
What are they doing at the party? I couldn't help but question herself.
"Inside obviously..." I said.
Alessia left Caleb, walked up to me, snatched the invitation card from me, stared it briefly then tossed it to the guards.
I was stunned by this.
"You call yourselves guards yet you wanted to let a lowlife and a fraud in?"
"Excuse you? A fraud?" I asked incredulously hardly believing my ears.
