“She wants to talk to you.”

Jax walked out of the bathroom dressed in his sweatpants and now a muscle fit white t-shirt. His hair always looked sexily tousled and messy after a shower, but I knew it was natural and nothing he’d done to it.

Jax shoved past both of us annoyed and Fenris went to leave too.

I touched his hand and he stopped to look down at me. “You ok?” I asked him.

He frowned at me and said, “yes, why wouldn’t I be?”

Looking to the floor, I mumbled, “I just thought maybe you’d hug me or something before walking away again.”

He pulled me into his arms and kissed the top of my head. “Sorry, I told you I’m not great with the whole being affectionate thing, always tell me if I’m acting cold or unloving and I promise I’ll do better, or just hug and kiss me, you can make the first move too you know,” he teased.

He pulled away from the hug to look at me and smiled. “Ok babe, I’ll try to be more affectionate for you and if you’re not too busy with Jax maybe you could sleep with me tonight?”

“Yes, that would be nice, I’m sorry I haven’t spent as much time with you.”

“That’s ok, baby, you deserve to spend some time with Jax after all the mess he created and how long it took him to admit his feelings.”

We went downstairs together, and then he went to find Romeo while I decided to help Sheila in the kitchen. “I just need to go to the bathroom,” she said and disappeared.

While she was gone, I started cooking breakfast when Jessica came into the kitchen.
