The whiteboard covering the far wall of the clubhouse looked more crowded than it ever had before because Casey had spent the better part of the morning pinning every recovered Asset Program file, photo, timeline and witness statement into one enormous investigation. Sunlight poured through the conference room window while coffee cups slowly accumulated across the table and despite the quiet atmosphere, I could feel the tension growing with every document Casey added to the board.
