“Eat up kid most important meal of the day.” Cody threw an entire stale biscuit in his mouth and the crunch sounded like a gunshot through a tunnel. “Nobody ever messes with you?” Larry Jr. measured his off-beat words carefully. The last thing he needed was to pull the tail of the dragon. “Nah I mean they did when I first got here once like one time now there are all kinds of tall tales about this country boy, the prison bumpkin Paul Bunyan I reckon.” Cody bent down to whisper “Supposedly I twisted a guy’s head off on the basketball court and dunked it flat-footed.” Cody winked.
