On rare occasions, a particularly foolhardy wand maker will attempt to craft a daemonic wand, in other words a wand containing within its core something taken from a greater or lesser daemon such as hair, horns, fangs, and claws. Luckily, this is only very rarely attempted because it is both extremely difficult to do successfully and it rarely ends well for either the wand maker or the mage who attempts to use it. First of all, daemons disappear when killed, their bodies returning to the daemonic plane of existence from which they came.
