White Moonstone
White moonstone is a sodium potassium aluminum silicate with the chemical formula (Na,K)AlSi3O8. Its gets its name from a beautiful moonlight sheen caused by the diffraction of light by microscopic layers of feldspar.
White moonstones were originally mined in Sri Lanka. Currently, they are also mined in Australia, Brazil, Madagascar, Myanmar, and the United States.
