Sophia Taylor took one last look at her reflection in the mirror, adjusting her navy blouse and smoothing her skirt. His heart pounded with sudden force. Today's event was his salvation, an opportunity to get his event-planning business out of the red. He took a deep breath and walked out of his small house, intending to leave a lasting impression. The venue of the evening was the magnificent ballroom of the Thompson Grand Hotel, one of the most prestigious places in New York. As she approached the grand entrance, Sophia couldn't help but marvel at the luxury of it all. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, warming casually dressed guests as they mingled and sipped champagne. The room hummed as the city officials chattered, a world Sophia was still getting used to. As he makes his way through the crowd, his eyes land on Alexander "Lex" Thompson, a billionaire businessman who owns not only a hotel but also a vast empire of successful businesses. He stood at the bar, radiating strength and confidence, drawing attention to his perfect suit. Sophie's heart skipped a beat. She had only seen him in magazines and online articles, but he was amazing in person. "Stop it," a voice interrupted his thoughts. "Are you Sophia Taylor, the program organizer?" Sophia transforms into a well-dressed man carrying a box. He nodded and tried to stay calm. "Yes, I'm." "Mr. Thompson wants to speak with you," the man said, pointing at Lexa. Sophia's stomach turned. He followed the man and made his way through the crowd until he reached Lex. The closer he got, the stronger his presence became. His blue eyes met hers and he held out his hand. "Sophia Taylor, I've heard great things about your work," Lex said in a soft, confident voice. Sophia shook his hand and felt an electric spark at the contact. “Thank you very much, Mr. Thompson. "Please call me Lex," she replied with a cute smile. "I have to say that today's preparation was amazing. Your name is in front of you. " Sophia was very proud. "I'm sorry Lex. I'm glad you're okay." Lex's gaze was intense and Sophia couldn't help but feel that he was assessing her and measuring her worth. "I have a word for you, madam. Taylor. How would you like to organize my next gala? This is an important event and I need someone with your skills and expertise. » Sophie's eyes are small. This was the place he had been waiting for, an opportunity to revive his ailing business. But he knew there had to be a catch. “I'm flattered Lex, but I need a little more information before I do. "Yeah," Lex said quietly. "Why don't we talk about it over dinner? Tomorrow night, my office, 7:00 p.m." Sophie's mind raced. This was her chance, but she couldn't take it. "I'll get there," she replied, trying to keep her voice calm. her eyes "I'm looking ahead." " The next evening, Sophia arrived in front of the imposing Thompson Enterprises building. The new look is a testament to Lex's success. Sighing, he went inside and took the elevator to the top floor. When he opened the door, he was greeted by a stunning view of the city skyline. Lex's assistant, a quiet girl named Claire, led Sophia into his office. The space is as impressive as the people themselves, with floor-to-ceiling windows, minimalist decor, and a large mahogany table. Lex stood by the window looking out over the city. "Ms. Taylor," he said, turning to her. “Just in time, be here. " Sophia sat down in the plush chair next to her desk and tried to calm the fluttering in her stomach. Lex sat up, her blue eyes staring at him. "Stop it," Lex said. "I need you to plan a charity event for me. This is no ordinary project: this is an opportunity to secure great business and a relationship with some of the most influential people in the industry." " Sophia nodded and listened intently. "I know. What do you want from me?" "You want to handle everything," Lex replied. “The venue, the guest list, the food, the entertainment I want this event to be perfect and I think you are the right person for the job. " Sophie's mind is racing. It's a big job, but also a lifelong risk. "I'm up for the challenge Lex. But what are your expectations and what budget are we working with?" Lex leaned back in his chair, a small smile playing on his lips. "I expect nothing but the best. As for the budget, consider it unlimited. Money is no object when it comes to this job. " Sophia felt a mixture of excitement and fear. An opportunity he had been waiting for, but it came with a lot of energy. "I need some time to think. " "Take it when you want," Lex said, his eyes never leaving hers. “But I hope you will consider my offer that this is the opportunity of a lifetime. Sophia left Lex's office with a heavy heart. This is his chance to prove himself, save his company, and make a name for himself in the industry. But he couldn't help but think that Lex was giving more than meets the eye. The following days were a whirlwind of planning and preparation. Sophia started the project and wanted the event to be a success. He was dedicated to work, working with clients, planning meetings, and overseeing every detail. Her phone was buzzing with calls and messages and her inbox was flooded with questions. As the days passed, he spent more and more time with Lex. Their professional relationship soon became a part of personal interactions, and Sophia couldn't deny the rise of interest in him. Lex was a great, authoritative man, but there was a depth to him that made him interesting. One evening, as they walked down the guest list, Lex approached her. "You did a great job, Sophia," he said quietly. Sophie's heart skipped a beat. "Thank you Lex. I just want everything to be perfect." "Sure," Lex said, fixing his eyes on her. "Because you're perfect. " Sophia felt a blush on her cheeks. He loved her and he knew it. But he also knew that their relationship was difficult and that there were still many challenges ahead. As the galaxy approaches, trouble begins. Lex's business was on the line and Sophia was feeling the pressure. One evening, Lex called her into his office. "We have a problem," he said. It broke Sophia's heart. "What is it?" "One of our biggest sponsors is threatening to pull out," Lex explained. "If they do, everything will fall apart. " Sophia took a deep breath. "I'll take care of it. Tell me what to do." Lex looked at him and his expression softened. “I believe you, Sophia. I am sure you will find a way to solve this problem. " Sophia nodded, trying to prove herself. He knew this was his chance to show Lex what he could do, and he was determined not to let it go.
