He turned to her and for a moment admired the look of peace on her face. Lex woke up wide-eyed. "Hello," he whispered in a voice thick with sleep. "Hello," Sophia replied with a smile. His expression was intense as he read the message. "What is this?" Sophia asked with concern in her voice. "There have been many losses since Charles left the company," Lex said with a sigh. “I have to go to the office to sort this out. Sophia nodded, her heart aching. "Do what you must. It's been crazy, Lex is dealing with big business problems." Emily's voice grew serious. "That's strong. How are you?" "I'm fine," Sophia replied, though she wasn't sure she believed it. "It's just a lot of playing." "Why don't we take a break and get some coffee?" Emily thought. "You need some time. " Sophia hesitated, then realized that the rest was what she needed. "You know what? That's great. I'll meet you at my place in half an hour." In the cafe, Sophia and Emily were sitting in a cozy corner sipping drinks. Emily listened as Sophia told her about the new situation. "Oh, it looks like something happened to you," Emily said, her brow furrowing in concern. “But it looks like you and Lex are strong. » "We are," Sophia said, smiling at the thought. "I'm just worried about him. These cases can have serious consequences. " Emily reached across the table and shook her hand. "You're welcome, Soph. You just have to be there for him and remember to take care of yourself." Sophia nodded, grateful for her friend's support. "Thanks, Em. I wanted it."
