The day of the spring festival was upon us,one more sleep and that's it,today I helped the women in the village prepare the flowers,each building, each window had a plant pot of some kind holding multiple colour burst of flowers.i rather enjoyed planting the flowers, filling the pot with compost and hanging them from their designated hooks,as usual the richer had more and the poorer had less.

I planted some pretty sets of tulips on Darius gate,he lived in a grand two story house with white walls and a green garden,to think that this house would be mine in eight weeks when I married him,if I married him.

a shudder ran down my back as a hand clamped down on my shoulders,I flinched automatically as he appeared before me ,I could already tell who it was from the strong stench of cigarettes and whiskey "go take these flowers to your mother" he said eyeing my recent display

"I do not like them". okay I managed to say before scurrying away although I could feel his eyes burning into the back of my head.

my nerves grew as I came to my mother's house, the one story small cabin was still the same as I left it two years ago there was no gate and no garden and it was placed at the side of the road.i saw the curtain shift as I approached the house which notified me that I was being watched,I swallowed harshly as I hung the flowers in its rightful place they were beautiful against the dark wood of the door which creaked open indicating my mother's presence.

"what a pleasant surprise"she said

'mother I was just leaving'

I haven't seen you in two months Kayla we live in the same town you cannot avoid me forever

"I don't know what you mean,I would do no such thing as to avoid a kind and caring woman like you"I said with sarcasm dripping in my voice.she was shell shocked and before I knee it she hit me across the face ."that's all you've got I've taken worse"

'you need someone to beat some obedience into you dear,why not start in the home' she uttered

"don't worry Darius has got your job covered" I said as I turned to walk away when she suddenly burst out laughing and asked " are you disowning me" like mother like daughter I said as I made my way from the house when I bumped into my sister by the side "Clarke" I greeted her before walking away towards Darius's house.

as I reached the potting area in the plaza a strange sensation passed over me like I was being watched I looked around to the forest beyond and there was nothing ,I shivered as I quickly ran into Darius's house then went straight to the bathroom to wash all the dirt off my hands after which I dried off with a towel but I couldn't still shake the unease i was feeling as I still I had to go back out as it was still early in the day and the preparations were not yet done.as I made my way to leave the house I quick walked into ash who asked"Kayla where are you going off to in such a hurry"

I shyly smiled at him and said i was just going to finish up with the ladies I said before Darius suddenly appeared

"ash you found her"he said then to me he said "just the beautiful woman I wanted to see"

"I am " I asked confused,he laughed whilst nodding his head"yes silly I have a surprise for you" he said what is it I asked, is it for tomorrow

"ofcourse"he answered and said"come we'll show you" I grinned as he lead me up the stairs into the bedroom which was empty "what is it you wanted to show me"I asked as I turned around to ash closing the door

" I meant you should show me something, get on the bed" he commanded "Darius what's going on I asked with shaky voice

"Kayla Don't test me" he said "if you want to see the festival get on the bed and do not speak to me"

I shaking did as I was told "in the middle" he commanded"and keep that dress on" but it's my favorite, I tried to protest when a harsh smack hut my face and Darius was on top of me kissing and sucking me

" Darius I don't want this" I tried to say when he shunned me saying

"ofcourse you do "he turned to his friend and said "ash here says you have taken an interest in him and he would like to reciprocate those feelings" and with that both he and ash were on me biting and sucking and caressing my body roughly as I tried to fight them off to no avail ,they pressed me down as the both took turns in riding their pleasure using me as I laid there emotionless, thinking about how much my life had taken a downturn thinking of about how Darius called me a good girl if this was good I hate to think what bad looked like.
