I sat uncomfortably waiting for whatever fate awaited me. I had spent the entire night looking for a way to escape from this tacky cell. I even tried picking the lock. When that did not work, I tried yanking the lock and when that did not work, I screamed for help until my throat got sore, all to no avail. There was no escaping this.
I should have listened to Nathan and have never come to the underworld again after my first experience with Steel tooth. But what could I have done? Sit around in bed all day and pray to the goddess to find my children?
