Nathan’s POV
I stirred as the light flickered in through my window. The memories of last night flooded back and I smiled in contentment. It had been a rough couple of days, with everything that has happened and all the killings and Jake still out there planning his next attack, but last night was enough to compensate for all the troubles.
By weekend, I and Nicole would have our mating ceremony. I will finally mark her and she would be mine. I have a lot of work to do to get my children to trust me and to love me. And I will do whatever it takes to be a great father to them, better than the father I had.
I got out of bed and jump into the shower. By the time I had my breakfast and went to my study, Luca was already there waiting.
