I could feel the anger in his voice. Luca must have told him about how I went off with Jake. I had nothing to be sorry about, I did what I did to save our children and I would do it over and over again. If that is what it takes. Even if it costs me my life.
Slowly, I spun around to meet his gaze. But he was not staring at me, his gaze was fixed on Danny’s. Danny had hidden partially behind my leg and so was Mia. The way Nathan screamed my name must have frightened them.
