I stared at Alexandra, my jaw tightening as disbelief turned into a boiling fury. This could not be happening. How could Jake have the audacity to mate with Alexandra and bring her back here—here of all places? The betrayal, the nerve—it all made my chest tighten as if she couldn’t breathe.
