Nathan’s POV It was past midnight by the time I pulled into my compound. The kids had complained about being hungry, so I had pulled over in a restaurant and we had dinner. It was beautiful watching my kids argue about what meal was tastier, fried chicken or tacos. And when they could not agree, they turned to me and of course I did not pick a side. Fried chicken and tacos were both delicious. On the drive back, they played guessing games and sang poems before they finally drifted off to sleep, leaving me to my thoughts. Nicole had done a great job of raising the children without any help. I had no experience with children and to make it worse, I had a lot of responsibilities to deal with. I don’t know how I’d be able to raise my children, but I will find a way. At home, all the guest
