Chapter 4 Phoebe pulled the blanket up to her chin and shivered. The tiny carriage they rode in shook as it hit a bump on the road. All three of them were wet, tired, and cold. She looked at the small window of the carriage, but condensation had fogged it up. With the side of her hand, she cleared the window but could not see much more than the dull gray sky and trees that lined the road. “Are we almost there yet?” The Golden Fox stretched his arms to the carriage’s roof and yawned. “You are leading this merry adventure. How are we to know?” Charley turned to him, wearing a scowl. The carriage hit another hole in the road, and they all were jostled to the right.
