He climbed out of the car and then walked inside the sitting room when he suddenly heard a scream.
It was a child’s voice.
“Rhoda,” he called and there was no answer. He decided to go check Rhoda’s room upstairs when he suddenly saw her coming out of a room and then she locked the door.
When Rhoda saw Liam, at first she paused because she was frightened. She quickly maintained an innocent look.
“I thought you had left, what are you still doing here?” she asked as she walked past Liam to her room.
“I had forgotten some of the files, and I heard a scream. What's in that room or rather who's in that room?” Liam asked but Rhoda didn't say a word.
