CHAPTER XXIII
At the sound of Bei Wei’s voice the second prince hated his steps and turned around with a triumphant smile. “I apologize for my response awhile ago your highness, the encounter must have slipped my mind.” “Oh? It never left mine” the prince said with a dangerous smile on his face. “ That medallion is very special to me , I do hope your highness will show his benevolence and reunite it with its owner” Bei Wei ignored the unnecessary comment of the prince , instead she straightforwardly addressed her thoughts. “The young miss was so valiant at that time , a stroll would suffice” the second prince shamelessly offered. “I am afraid I would have to disappoint your highness, as a candidate to become the crown prince’s lotus bride, strolling with another man would be far inappropriate.”
