ResolutionBy the time I had the strength to look up, the battle was almost over. Though the fighters had been pushed back to the last barricade, that barricade was intact, and no new nightbringers streamed out of the woods. The archers fired a last volley of arrows, then lowered their bows as the remaining nightbringers engaged the fighters. I lay there as the fighters hacked the nightbringers into dust.
