AidThe castle was an old, motte-and-bailey style, not the modern star forts that were popular around Castulo. Its earthworks were rough and simple. The palisade was a single row of unhewn logs, and there was no walk-around; instead, a couple rickety platforms loomed above the wall, from which archers could fire.
