Logan's point of view
My heart aches badly, and it wasn't due to the lamentable state of my pack right after I become the alpha. Partially because of my mother's death, and my ill luck with Myra.
She's gone, I watched their vehicle rode out of the pack. Earlier the Alpha King had came to us to offer his mind-sick threat- but in his words, his soft and tender condolences.
It was me, my father, and some of pack's councils together in the office trying to discuss a way forward for the pack when he waltzed in.
