Myra’s point of view
I expected Lucas to show up since the words I left for Neil to get to him, yet it’s been over an hour and I haven’t seen anybody that looks like him knocked on my door.
Why was I even expecting him? I don’t want to see him, he is dangerous and a menace to my safety. However, deep inside me, a weak part of me wishes he’s not the liar, that everyone else is instead. This is no other than a ploy to sabotage whatever we have going on.
My door knocked, and my interest rocketed as I jumped out of the bed to check out who it was. Upon opening my door I was met with the concerned face of Linda.
I was disappointed, but masked the expression and opened my door wider for her presence. I don’t know when last we saw each other, but her face sure looks so scarc
