I waited and waited for her to show up, but she never did. And when I searched for her telepathically to know why she didn’t come back or what held her there, I found Myra in the Alpha King’s arms happy and all smiley with him.
My heart sank and shattered at the sight of her happiness, I nearly gave up on her and accept that she wasn’t for me and I should let her be with whoever she chooses.
Not like she’d ever choose me even if the Alpha King wasn’t in the picture, I just had hope for redemption and perhaps a later chance.
