There Is Nothing Left (Trigger Warning)

Michelle POV

"You have know for 5 years Meridian" I yelled.

"No just recently on her birthday she gained her wolf. Well Teghan reached out saying she was going through something terrible and needed help. Also that she carries our gifts she is a mystic but I don't know her strength" Meridian answered. "See you are wind and fire given both by your parents making you electricity and lighting. Yanin is ice or water, and Yairi is fire and ash. I won't know Zailey's until I see her" Meridian explained our strengths.

"But her birthday was two days ago and you are barely telling us she is alive" I countered.

"Yes because only the three can save us and the two combined save the Were World" she says.

"I thought I was the three" I ask.

"No you were never apart of the prophecy, you had to find the two first. Knowing she was alive you would have looked for her and lost the twins. But you are just the perfect person to get them ready" she says sincere.

I finally come out of the room to find Christopher in a mess himself over this information. All I can do is sit next to him and hold his hand. Until he pulls me on his lap and just cries into my chest. With all his emotions I just hold him and cry into his hair.

"You have to go get her" he hiccups between sobs.

"I know" I say squeezing him tighter. "We have to go back to where there is nothing left to even get a clue on where she might be."

"I want to come with you" he says looking up at me with tear stained cheeks. My heart breaks for him and myself.

"Meridian said only the mystics can get her without any harm" I reply. He just lowers his head defeated and broken. Breathing in my scent trying to calm down. We came back about an hour ago and both of us needed space. At times I hated that Meridian could be like this but she was mine for a reason.

"When are you leaving" he sighs.

"Tomorrow" Meridian tells me.

"Tomorrow she said" I answer Christopher. He lifts his head to me looking in my eyes.

"Can you just kiss me" he says tears brimming his eyes. I lean in and kiss my beautiful mate with such a delicate heart. Grabbing the back of my head he pulls me in kissing me deeper. Like if it was the last time he would ever kiss me. We don't pull away until both of us can't breath. Resting our foreheads together I close my eyes keeping this moment in memory.

Alessa POV

It's been about 5 years and I don't remember much before waking up. I remember people fighting and fires and the smell of blood and death. But I have no memory of who I was before. After Steph found us she tried so hard to keep us safe. That was until Alpha John and Luna Kelly came and forced her to give us up. I say forced because they would have killed her, it was just me Ans and Aly. The three pups found in the aftermath of chaos. She loved us so much and had us for about 2 years before they came. But I just recently got my wolf and she said something great is coming. Ans and Aly are still unsure why I got my wolf early because we get our wolves at 18. That just clarifies that I am not 16 like we thought I had just turned. We are the cooks and housekeepers for this deranged alpha and his lunatic of a wife. So far they both don't know what this Alpha has done to me better yet what he lets his Luna do. I told the girls I have been doing extra tasks to help around the pack house. In reality I am their personal punching bag. They make sure not to hit my face because they still try to uphold their image. No one knows how hard it is not to break but one thing I learned from Steph was never let them see you cry. Today I got called out of laundry and I hugged Ans telling her not to wait for me.

"I will tell Aly you are working late again, do you want us to wait on you for dinner" Ans asked me.

"Don't wait I will try to make it but I don't want to keep you guys waiting" I tell her while a ball fills in my stomach. What could they possibly want from me? I walk up to the Alpha's office on the second floor. As soon as I walk in a fist hits me in the face. For the very first time I was in shock I could feel blood running over my mouth dripping off of my chin. I turn to see who it was sure enough Alpha John is staring at me seething in anger.

"Who did the laundry yesterday" he spits out.

"I'm not sure you had me in your chambers all day. I wasn't there when anyone got assignments from Carla" I try not to cry thinking of yesterday's treatment.

"I specifically said I only wanted you to do our laundry" he said barely holding himself together.

"I couldnt--"

Another punch to the face before I could finish. This time I could feel my eye swelling and I was beginning to panic. His eyes were caramel showing me his beast was beyond pissed off. I sat there timidly holding my face. Then he picks me up by my hair and starts walking me toward his chamber. It was a secret room built into his office that he had made when we first got here. But I was the only one who was ever inside the only way I knew to protect Ans and Aly. He threw me in and once I hit the floor he kicked my stomach making me spit blood and fight to catch my next breath. I cried for Teghan to help me but she was silent like if she was never there. In that moment I think I only dreamed of having her because I could not feel her. A kick to my back brings me back to reality and I'm crawling to get away. The sound of the Luna's laugh makes my blood freeze. She's in here too I have never had to deal with both of them. Kelly leans down to my face pulling my hair back to make me look at her.

"You piece of s**t, you ruined my new dress, that dress was worth more than your life" she yells.

"But I didn't--"

This time I get kicked in the face and everything is going in and out.

"Did I tell you to talk mutt" she sneers. Instantly I feel burning on my cheek. I try to scream but the Alpha covers my mouth. There is burning everywhere now and the smell of cigarettes. In that instant my heart stopped I tried my best not to move. Until she stomped on my foot and I buckled under him.

"Sideon how long have you been out" Kelly laughs out.

"Get out, NOW" he growls. Her eyes go big and she leaves immediately knowing not to cross Sideon. He gets up and locks the door from the inside. I am trying my best to crawl away but I can't see anymore my eyes are swollen. I can't get up I think she broke my foot so crawling is my best option but not for long. Sideon grabs my feet and drags me to another room in this chamber.

"Please don't" I manage to get out my lips trembling trying not to cry. He doesn't listen he ties my hands down and tears off my pants. I kick and scream for him to stop but he ties my feet down too.

"Please" I saying tears falling now.

"I will not let you leave this room until your face heals. So while I have you here might as well have some fun" he whispers.

He rubs his hand up the sides of my legs squeezing a little when he gets to my hips. My whole body is shaking and I can't let him.
