Surprise Surprise

Yairi POV

I wake up laying in a bed tucked tight behind me is Yanin. How did we get a room? When did I walk up here is the big question. I don't know why but I smell a man's cologne and not just any the expensive kind. Did Yanin do something to get the room? No she would never do that, would she? I don't remember much after she snapped at me. I did have a crazy dream about talking to a wolf named Phoenix, that was cool.

"That wasn't a dream dear" Phoenix tells me. Stretching out somewhere in my body.

Holy hell I'm insane did I hit my head when Andrew threw me. Did he pull my hair hard enough to make me delusional?

"None" she says laughing at me. "I have always been with you Yairi. I just wasn't able to meet you until now. Usually our human counterparts don't gain their wolf until their 18th birthday. We got to come early when you were 13. Just for some reason we were put to sleep."

"What do you mean put to sleep?" I asked.

"Well when your father died we were sent immediately to you and your sister. But honestly 5 years on that medication I don't remember why." she responds.

"I don't understand...wait the medicine, the one I missed, the one we could not miss a dose of no matter what. That medication that my mother made us take and would even count to make sure we did." I almost shout back.

"That would be the one" she says scratching her ear.

"How can I feel everything you do?" I ask.

"What do you mean?" she answers.

"Like earlier I literally felt you stretch inside my body. Right now you scratched your ear and I could feel you do it. But I haven't moved a muscle." I explain.

"Silly little wolf, you're a werewolf we share the same soul, the same body, and mind. Without you I cease to exist and you without me...well I don't know honestly. The you from yesterday at graduation I guess." she says yawning.

"Are you ok" I ask.

"Yes I am fine just need a little more time to adjust. We got a big night ahead of us and I need all my strength" she yawns again.

"A big night what is happening tonight" I asked quickly.

"You will see little wolf, I need more rest" she tells me. With that the connection is broken and I don't know how to reach her again. I have so many unanswered questions. Is there anyone that can help me?

I get up to use the bathroom and wash off my face. I look in the mirror my eyes are no longer glowing that's a plus. I walk out of the bathroom trying to be quiet so I don't wake up Yanin. I don't see our bags so I can't brush my teeth yet. I grab my phone, ugh it's 7:25am, I guess I can go grab our bags and maybe this place has breakfast. I grab Yanin's keys off the dresser and head outside to the Jeep.

As I'm taking out our bags someone runs behind me scaring me shitless.

"Good morning nobody, are we still having breakfast" the man says. I turn around quickly and glare at him. Oh my Lord it's the pervy guy from the gas station.

"Oh I'm sorry. I thought you were your sister" he backs up.

"I don't think calling her a nobody is anyway to talk to any woman" I feel myself getting angry.

"I'm sorry let me explain. I'm William and I met your sister last night and she told me her name is nobody." he throws his hands up in surrender.

Typical Yanin well if she didn't tell him her name I sure as hell am not either. He's not bad looking I mean definitely not my type.

"You are having breakfast with my sister?" I ask.

"Well I offered her a room if she would have breakfast with me. She said she would but only if I let her help me fix my friends car." he gestures to the black Jeep.

Oh I see she always had a knack for cars. That's what she was going to college for was automotive and diesel stuff. I guess I believe him everything he's saying sounds exactly like Yanin.

"Ok, I will wake her up then" I say and walk back up the stairs carrying our bags.

Yanin POV

I hear the door open and close as Yairi walks in and throws the bags on the bed. Suddenly last night comes rushing back to me. He came back from the office with two keys, our room and his. He smiled at me and asked if I needed help with Yairi. All I could do was nod at him and he picked her up like she weighed nothing. Once he laid her down he stepped out of the room into the hallway. I couldn't just stand there and let him leave but I didn't want to come off to desperate. I went to the restroom and washed my face giving myself a pep talk to go find him. As I walk out of my room he is walking out of the room next to ours. Smiling he said he laid his friend down and I instantly felt sick.

"Hey pervy downstairs wants to go to breakfast" Yairi throws a pillow at my head pulling me out of my thoughts.

"His name is William" I say annoyed.

"I know nobody, I told him you would, now get up" she says.

Oh my gawd was she awake when we were talking. Did she hear us? Was she pretending to be asleep? That little ass hat.

"He introduced himself to me outside he thought I was you" she says nonchalantly. Whew that just saved me some embarrassment, I think. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth looking at myself in the mirror. Gawd I look horrible and yet he still wants to talk to me. I have to dress comfortable I get to work on a car today, with him. I throw on a pair of black jeans and my rebels tshirt and put my hair in a messy bun. I'm about to set out when I remembered our necklaces. I grab my bag and open the secret zipper I put on the strap taking out our necklaces.

"Here before I forget, now no one can tell us when to wear them" I say handing her her necklace.

Tears fill her eyes, "I thought these were gone."

"I wouldn't have done that they mean to much" I say. She puts hers on and it instantly turns red she looks in the mirror and smiles. I put mine on and to my surprise it glows a soft blue.

"You missed your first dose" she said making me look at her.

"Huh" I say.

"You will find out soon enough now come on I really want breakfast" she giggles pulling me to the door. My stomach grumbles in agreeance with her traitor I think to myself. We open the door and there he is. It's like the first time all over again he is just stunning.

"GG-Good morning" I stutter.

"Good morning" he smiles back.

"Ok love birds. Us. Food. Now. Thank You." Yairi gets on my nerves.

"I hope you don't mind if my friend joins us for breakfast" he adds.

"No that's fine, let's just get going" Yairi answers. But I am not fine with this I do not want to see who he is trying to hide while dating. Ugh I guess let's get this over with.

"Hey where did you guys get your moonstones?" he asked.

I reach up to my neck and fear creeps in quickly. Only my mother knew about the moonstone we need to leave. I try to get Yairi's attention but she's stuck on freaking breakfast.

"I only know one person who has a moonstone, but hers is purple" he continues talking. We walk in to lobby toward the dining area for breakfast. I could smell the waffles and bacon oh the sweet syrup making my stomach growl louder.

"Hey my friend is already here" he says I feel myself get sick. I really need to get out of here I need to run but I can't leave Yairi. She just isn't paying attention to me enough to get the message.

"YAIRI, YANIN" I hear a woman scream.
