Back To The Pack House

William POV

"OH my God" Yanin yells.

I look inside of their room and it's completely trashed. I knew we should have left sooner. We got comfortable and didn't look out for them as we should have. I need to talk to Michelle alone I tap her on the shoulder. While Yairi and Yanin were going through their things. We step into Michelle's room and to my surprise the room is untouched.

"We need to get to the pack house" I say. She nods her head in agreement.

"What are we dealing with William" she asks me.

"I can explain when we get back to the pack" I tell her. Suddenly we hear the girls scream we take off as fast as we can to their room. If she gets hurt I will never forgive myself. We should have stayed in the hallway. I continue to beat myself up when we reach the room. Yairi is holding up a dead animal with a note on it. Shaking she hands me what looks like a dead rabbit.

"This has Samuels written all over it" Theo says.

"I know" I tell him. "We need to get the girls back."

"What does it say" Yanin asks.

I look up at her beautiful face and see fear in her eyes. I will make whoever did this pay. I never want to see that look ever again in our lifetime.

"Umm" I clear my throat.

"That crazy b***h" Yanin says. Michelle gives her a side eye but doesn't correct her so it must be true.

"We need to take you to our pack house it will be safe there for all of us. I can only protect you two so much. I don't want to put the burden of all three of us on Michelle either" I say.

Theo is pacing back and forth and I am trying to keep him contained.

"Theo is everything ok" I ask him.

"No, they hurt mate and they are still close" he answers.

"GET YOUR THINGS NOW" I order. The girls stand there frozen and Michelle runs to grab her things. I look at Yanin and I see that fear again just this time it's toward me. A ping of guilt washes over me I shouldn't have used that tone with her. I can't let her get hurt not when Theo says they are still here. I walk toward her but she takes a step back only setting the guilt in further.

"I'm sorry, just Theo says they are still close and I don't know who is all with them" I explain. She relaxes a bit but not much. She pushes her sister and starts putting things in her bags. Once everything is packed we head down stairs. Michelle is on full alert going down before us checking the cars for anything. She finds a tracking device on the girls Jeep so we can't take that one. It could be removed but will take time and that's time we don't have right now. We check her Jeep and it still won't turn on. Only option is my truck, she hasn't found anything suspicious on it, so we throw everything in the back and pile in.

"Care to explain" Michelle says keeping her eyes out the window.

"Theo said they are still close by" I answer. She nods her head.

"They are in the woods William" she says.

"What" I look at her. She points and sure enough there are about 15 werewolves sleeping across the tree line. Nobody would ever see them but Michelle she could clear them out in an instant.

"Should we kill them" I ask earning a gasp from the girls.

"I could but I need to know what they want with the girls. Clearly two moonstones would not need this many wolves" she says.

She's goes to step out of the car one thing about Michelle she's the best at her job for a reason.

"WAIT" Yairi yells. "It's a trap Phoenix said if you go over there you will be asleep just like they are."

"Dammit" Michelle mumbles. She gets back in the car and nods giving me the go ahead to leave this place.

I look at Yanin and notice she's extra quiet deep in her thoughts. Great I just found her and she's already scared of me. I motion Michelle to look back at her. Her eyes glaze over and I know she is mind linking her. I thought we could do that as a pack but I guess since Michelle has always been different she can.

"Next gas station pull over" Michelle says patting my leg and earning a growl from Yanin.

"Easy little mist I have no interest in your mate" she laughs out. I look at her and her face is burning red. If she only knew how much she already has my heart. I am melting for this woman and she doesn't even know.

"When we get them safe you can tell her, Cub" Theo interjects.

"Shut up" I snub back.

"She is magnificent, her wolf is strong I talked with her earlier" he says.

"How you have to be mated to connect" I ask confused.

"Not sure but Ivie is a masterpiece" he says full of love.

Michelle POV

Last night was amazing that shift, her wolf, ahhhh fire added to the books. I will have to explain sooner or later what we are. I know William still freaks out I throw his big ass around like a paper weight. Even the Alpha knows I can take him saved his life too.

"Oh my God" Yanin yells.

Pulling me from my thoughts I look in their room, completely trashed. The mattress flipped, clothes thrown every where, pillows shredded to pieces. I am seeing red for the first time in a long time. William taps my shoulder and I follow him out to my room. This room is completely untouched meaning whoever it was is targeting the girls has no idea I'm here. I mean three moonstones would mean complete power a total were community take over.

"We need to get to the pack house" William says.

"What are we dealing with William" I ask nodding my head in agreement.

"I can explain when we get back to the pack" he says right before the girls scream. I instantly run toward the door leaving William behind. We go in the room and Yairi is holding a dead rabbit. Clearly torn to pieces but it's a rabbit with a note attached these sick f***s. Yairi hands the carcass to William seeing her hands shake.

"What does it say" Yanin asks.

William taken back clears his throat and reads aloud

We stand there confused on what to do or where to start when William starts to feel uneasy it's pouring off of him and I feel it.

"GET YOUR THINGS NOW" he orders out.

I head Theo before but this was more desperate. I run out and grab my laptop bag and my small luggage I had in the room. I must have taken longer than I thought because when I come out they were ready. I motion for William to wait so I could go down first. I let Meridian take control and she sniffs out the tracking device on the Jeep. Andrew put that there but Isabelle has her scent on it too. I go over to my Jeep and it still won't start. Lastly is Williams truck but his only has mine and his scent. Not being messed with at all I motion that his is safe. We throw all luggage in the back and pile in the truck.

"Care to explain" I ask examining the parking lot.

"Theo said they are still close by" he says. There in the tree line they are sleeping hidden well but not normal.

"They are in the woods William" I say.

"What" he asks. I point to the tree line where they are sleeping.

"Should we kill them" he asks earning a gasp from the girls.

"I could but I need to know what they want with the girls. Clearly two moonstones would not need this many wolves" I reply. I can't let them know what power the moonstones hold even mine is sought after. I go to get out of the car.

"Dammit" I mumble getting back in the car. I finally give William the ok to leave and we head out. After a few minutes William gets my attention toward Yanin. She is thinking about something and I don't want her to feel awkward.

"Little mist" I mind link.

"Hello Meridian" Ivie answers.

"Are you ok" I ask her.

"She's scared she thinks he has ties to Andrew. This is the first time she's let her fear be seen and doesn't know how to act. Also Andrew hurt Yairi and she couldn't help her" Ivie tells me.

"What if you talk to him" I tell her.

"I have talked to Theo which freaked him out. I also wouldn't mind talking to him just so he understands. She's been the strong one for so long she doesn't know how to act" Ivie says.

"On the next stop you can sit up here and talk to him" I tell her.

"Next gas station pull over" I tell William patting his leg. Yanin growls at my action at least I know she feels the mate bond.

"Easy little mist I have no interest in your mate" I say almost laughing. I can feel her burning with embarrassment and I lay my head back closing my eyes. Back to the pack house I know we will be safe but I can't shake this bad feeling.
