My Mate

Yairi POV

I slept most of the way to the pack house and I still feel exhausted they told us we are about 30 minutes away. Yanin starts screaming in pain in the front seat.

"She's about to shift" Phoenix tells me.

I put my hand on her arm trying to soothe her.

"Pull the car over, NOW" I yelled.

"Yanin, me and Yairi are going to shift when we get you out let Ivie take control" Phoenix tells her.

"Okay" she gets out with tears rolling down her cheeks. He finally stops and I jump out of the car opening Yanin's door. Almost instantly Phoenix is out waiting for Ivie.

"Give Ivie control" I tell her.

In the next instantly she is shifting I can see her bones breaking. I'm pretty thankful I did this in the dark my first time because that looks painful. Then Ivie is standing in front of me just as massive as I am. But her coat is amazing she's a baby blue with white and purple swirls. The way the sun is shining on her almost makes her look like shimmering snow.

"RUN" I hear Ivie's voice.

With that I don't ask any questions we just bolt out of there like bats out of hell. I hear William and Aunt Michelle yelling at us but we are moving so quick their words are a blur. Next thing I knew a massive black leopard takes me down.

"This cat is mine" Phoenix let's out a snarl. She jumps on its back and starts biting it. I can hear other wolves and cats getting closer.

"What is happening" I hear Yanin ask. But I just can't let this cat win it's not going to get the best of me.

I don't link back I am going toe to toe with this leopard. The cat gets up and tries to jump at me but I duck and catch it by the throat slamming it's head into the ground. I am to caught up with this cat when this dark brown wolf steps out showing his teeth ears pulled back ready to fight Yanin.

I have the cat pinned still when the wolf lunges at her, Ivie slowly steps to the side, and we watch him fall. She lets the wolf up and it runs toward me but Ivie catch it by the hind leg and tossing it at a tree. It's like Theo came out of no where and gets in front of Ivie and roars so loud. The wolf just stops and you can tell he is confused. I still have the cat pinned down practically sitting on his head. See mid way through the fight I smelt this amazing smell off of it like the black ice car freshener Yanin has in the Jeep. I have always loved that smell and this cat has me in a trance by it.

"He's our mate" Phoenix says.

I finally see Michelle and she nuzzles the brown wolf rubbing herself into his fur and he returns the gesture. He walks behind a few trees his gaze never leaving me and Yanin. Then some guy steps out in shorts blood running down his back and the side of his head. I see Michelle come out from behind a tree too and she is in a t-shirt. She runs up to this man and in his arms she holds him like her life depends on it and he gives her a kiss on the forehead. She whispers something to him and he gets the biggest smile and looks at me.

"Yanin, Yairi you guys are safe you can shift back" he says. At this point I am terrified to get off this animal underneath me. I can feel him tiring out and on the verge of passing out. But I stay put while Michelle comes over to talk me off of him. I see Yanin go behind a tree in no time she comes around and dressed she looks at Phoenix still not letting up on the cat.

"Talk to your sister" I hear Michelle say.

"Babe I need you to let it up I don't think it can breath" she says.

She looks at me and back at the cat underneath me. Slowly I get off of it and the cat gets up slowly walking toward Michelle.

"I have clothes for you babe, let's go behind the trees" she tells me.

My eyes never leaving the cat I really hope he is ok I don't know what came over me.

"I just fell on my face when I shifted back" Yanin laughs. I just can't get my mind off my mate he was fighting for air and I didn't get up.

"Aunt Michelle says it's safe and I'm right here babe" she says rubbing my arms.

"Phoenix said he's our mate" I say. "I just slammed my mates head into the ground and sat on him till he almost passed out. I can't show my face he's not going to want to talk to me after this."

"Are you serious" Yanin says excitedly.

"Yanin I'm scared what is happening I feel drawn to him but I'm to embarrassed to see him"I admit.

"Let's just take it one step at a time" she says.

We step around and now it's just Michelle and William even the guy Michelle knew was gone.

"You girls are impressive training will be so much fun" Michelle says with a smile.

"Did you not just see what happened" I asked.

"I did and it was spectacular, I will explain everything tomorrow right now let's get settled in" she says.

"Want to talk about it" Yanin asks.

"Not really" I say.

"Everything will be fine babe I promise" she tries to reassure me.

"He left I didn't even get to see him I know I did what I did but he didn't want to see me. William practically drop to his knees and crawled to you at the gas station. He doesn't want me I just feel broken and like crap. Why didn't we get up?" I ask.

"What do you think" William asks getting our attention.

"It's beautiful" we say in unison.

Those two just smile like we are little kids it was mesmerizing I think both of us where in awe of this place. We walk in the double doors and we are met with the man who was the brown wolf.

"My love, it's always hard when you leave" he says kissing Michelle. I want a love like that even though Yanin just hurt him. It doesn't even phase him when it comes to her.

"My dearest heart, I won't have to leave anymore, this is them" she says.

"It's nice to meet you I'm Christopher, Michelle's mate" he says. He extends out his hand and we both introduce ourselves.

"Michelle has told me so much about you, it's crazy to finally meet you, ever since we met you two have been her goal" he says.

Yanin apologizes when she is ready for sleep but I know how she feels that first shift is exhausting and she got in her first wolf fight. I mean even I'm tired from fighting today and Phoenix has been asleep since we got in the car.

"Of course, I'm sorry Abby can you show---"

"My mate stays with me I can take her to our room" William cuts him off.

"And Yairi" Christopher asks raising his eyebrow. It catches my attention when he says my name.

"That's what I thought grumps" he tells William with a smile.

"Abby will you show Yairi here to her room" he continues.

"Christopher I don't know where her room is" she says shyly.

"Well you know where the Alpha is, correct" he asks.

"Well yes but--"

"Go ask him I can guarantee he knows where she will be" Christopher says.

"Yes sir, let's go find our alpha" she says hooking her arm with mine.

"It's ok link me if you need me" Yanin links me.

"I love you toots" I say back. I feel myself relax as me and Abby start walking through this mansion.

"The first floor is basic library, kitchen, dining hall, banquet room, game room. The second floor is the offices for the beta and alpha and occasionally the alpha conferences. Those are a bit scary some alphas are intimidating. The third floor is for the omegas that work in the house and are unmated which is way better than my old alpha I can tell you that. The fourth floor is Williams floor we don't have a gamma so he takes the spot as our highest warrior. The fifth floor is for beta Christopher and beta Michelle. Lastly is the sixth floor the alpha's floor most of us have only seen it to clean but other than that the alpha is pretty much out with us" Abby had so much information I felt like my head was going to pop.

"Abby can you be my guide though this house" I ask laughing. I don't know why but I am really comfortable with her.

"Of course I couldn't let my new bestie get lost" she answers with a smile. It's nice to have someone I can feel this connection with besides Yanin.

"Come on let's take the elevator the alpha should be in his office" she says. This place is amazing you can see everything as we go up the elevator almost like the elevator at the mall that's all glass. I'm just taken back by my new surroundings just a few days ago we didn't have a home. But this place feels perfect like we were meant to be here.

"Alright it's this door here if you ever need my brother this is where you find him, just don't let him know I told you" she says with a smirk. She knocks on the door and we hear a voice say come in. She opens the door and it hits me that black ice smell it's amazing. His head shoots up his green eyes flicker between normal and a cat eye. His jet black hair is combed back and he has a few scratches around his neck from me.

"Abby leave us please" he says calmly.

"But I need to find her room Zay" she almost pouts.

"I will get her situated I just need you to leave right now" he explains.

"He's not as bad as he sounds, meet me in the dining hall for dinner" she says before leaving the room. I keep my head down way to embarrassed to even show my face. I was so nervous I didn't even hear him come up to me. He slowly raised my chin up to him so I can look into those pools of green.

"Don't ever hide those eyes from me" he says right before he kissed me. This man is kissing me and I am melting I wrap my arms around his neck. He pulls me into him and I moan into his mouth. I pull away and he pouts out his lip looking just like Abby did when he told her to leave.

"I'm sorry about the fight" I say looking down again.

"Hey don't be sorry it was good training and your wolf is powerful" he says rubbing his neck.

"Also I told you not to hide those eyes from me" he smiles at me.

"But you left the place I thought you would hate me. My aunt told me all about mates and being rejected. Are you just pulling me along to reject me? Because she said it would hurt like hell and in some cases kill us. I really don't feel like hurting or dying today. My mom's boyfriend already hurt me the other day and I don't think I can handle anything else" I say everything like word vomit. He just stares at me with this smile and I can't decipher what is on his mind.

"Please don't ever think I would reject you. You are my mate, my life, and now my forever" he says making me melt all over again.

"I left because I was a little embarrassed I got beat up by my mate. But knowing you are related to Michelle I should have know right off the bat" he says.

What's up with Michelle and why is she stronger than everyone I start to think.

"I know I already kissed you but can I please know your name" he asks pulling me from my thoughts.

"Yairi" I tell him with a blush "yours?"

"Zadrian, Zadrian Kane Alpha of the Mystic Moon Pack" he says proudly.

"Well then I guess I'm Yairi Aaliyah DeMarco, I don't have all the fancy titles" I say with a smile.

"I, Zadrian Kane Alpha of the Mystic Moon Pack, accept you Yairi Aaliyah DeMarco as my mate and Luna" he says to me. I feel this surge of power rip through me and I get cotton mouth. He's just staring at me and I don't know what to do all I can think is repeat what he just said.

"I, Yairi Aaliyah DeMarco, accept you Zadrian Kane as my mate and alpha" I say to him.

The surge feels even bigger between us and all I can do is look up at him. His eyes like deep pools of green satin drawing me into him. The smile and adoration in his eyes shows that he does have feelings for me. He cups my face in his hands and I just lean into him feeling his rough hands. He leans in again and I tip toe up to him and kiss him our height difference is nothing right now. He clung to me like if I got away he would die and I didn't mind being in the spot at all. This time he pulls away from me with my eyes still closed and tasting his lips still.

"You have just made me the happiest man alive" he said while he put his forehead against mine.

"And you have made my world feel complete" I sigh out trying to catch my breath. But he pulls me in again this time picking me up and I wrap my legs around him like a second nature. I don't understand why I can't stop with him everything feels so right. Then there's a knock on the door and we stop he sits me down on his desk and kisses my nose.

"Come in" he says his eyes never leaving mine.

"Sir it's urgent and----" Christopher walks in and stops when he sees me.

"So she is your mate and Yanin is Williams mate" he said giving me a smirk.

"Yes Chris she is and she accepted me" he says with a smile.

"Well that explains the flashlight in your pocket" Christopher says laughing.

"Shut up what did you need to tell me" he says.

"Nichols is looking for the girls he put money on them" he answers him looking at me. Who the hell is Nichols?

"Not my mate and if he comes for them he will die. If anyone sets foot on the pack grounds with intent to harm them will die" he answers. Christopher shakes his head in agreement but I am still wondering who is Nichols and why would he want me and Yanin.

"Alright well I have to break this to William so let see how that goes" Chris explains. He leaves the room and again it's just me and him.

"My mate, my beautiful mate" he tilts my chin up and kisses me so deeply and so passionate. I feel myself getting wet between my legs and I can't control it.

"You have to control it before I try to take you in my office and based on your smell you're still a virgin" he says kissing my neck and up to my ear. Gawd this man right here is doing things no one has ever done. I have exes but I never felt the need to sleep with them this man right here makes me want to do things I didn't think I would ever want.

"My mate" he whispers to me while he rubs his thumb against my cheek.

"Are you happy" I ask kissing the inside of his hand.

"Beyond happy you are truly a blessing my heart" he says. I go in to kiss him one more time when my stomach rumbles. He laughs and quickly kisses my nose.

"Come on let's go eat and introduce you to your new pack" he says holding out his hand. I take his hand and this moment couldn't be more perfect. Him and I against the world, my safe place, my rock, and most importantly my mate. We walk in to dining hall and there are so many people here to most it would be intimidating but for me it's empowering. I hold my head high and get a few glares from women in the room clearly wanting what's mine. He squeezes my hand and leads me to the head of the table.

"Everyone I want you to meet our two new members, well if the decide to join us and that I'm hoping for" he says looking down at me. "Yairi, my mate and your future Luna, and Yanin Williams mate. I ask that you welcome them and show them the same love and respect as William and I" he finishes. The room erupts in cheers and whistles and everyone is clapping I don't know what came over me. But I pulled him to me and kissed him.

"Come on guys I don't want to see that" Abby says nudging us.

"Come on baby sis when you find your mate I will tell you the same" he says smiling. In a way I didn't know I could make him this happy and to see this side of him I don't want to ever lose it. After dinner he takes my hand and we head up to his room. He practically has a whole apartment and before I can even look around. He scoops me and kisses me bumping into the walls and up the stairs to his room. His kisses are leaving me burning and I feel like I need more but I'm also scared to lose my virginity. Especially to someone I just met I don't know if we should go any further.

"Let me help you out" Phoenix chimes in.

"What are you going to do" I ask.

"Something that will keep him with us forever" she says smirking.

"Okay I trust you Phoenix don't make me regret it" I tell her.

As soon as I give her control she kisses him behind his ear and down his neck making him shiver. Then out of no where she bites his freaking neck. He yells out but not in pain more like in ecstasy. He pulled me into him and smiles into my neck when he in turn bites me. Oh my Lord I thought I needed him before but right now I need him more.

"Get some rest little wolf" Phoenix says.

"I am not killing this mood" I tell her as I come down from this high. He licks my neck and I in turn do the same.

"Get some rest little wolf" she says a little more stern. In a instant I am absolutely exhausted I press my nose into his neck again. Sleep consumes me but after this moment I couldn't be more happier.
