The Unknown Trip

Yairi POV

I heard her clear as day "Let's go, she needs us" Aunt Michelle said it's Teghan. Another mystic wolf, I think it's cool we can hear each other but the panic and fear in those five words. It was enough to get us moving no questions not even to our mates. Zadrian was adamant about sending William with us but Aunt Michelle was against it. So now we are headed to meet Alpha Kai in our destroyed territory. It's been a crazy few hours and I don't understand how we heard Teghan but can't reach out to her. We are almost to the territory and I can see wolves eyes watching out for us.

"It's fine they are with Alpha Kai" Phoenix reassures me. After what happened the last time I'm thankful for this response.

"Don't judge me last time was all Ivie" she says rolling her eyes at me.

"Sure and you could sense these but not them" I tell her.

"Uh yeah these are wolves I can't sense cats and bears ok" she gives me a sarcastic tone. I laugh to myself getting a glare from Michelle and Yanin up front.

"What exactly are we doing" I ask.

"We need to rescue our mystic, now I don't know what kind of danger she is in. But based on the tone last night it's urgent" Michelle answers.

"I can't wait to get out my butt cheeks are starting to fall asleep" Yanin stretches out in her seat.

"Looks like we made it girls" Michelle says. I look out the window and I see this beautiful mansion sitting on an open plain with view of the mountains straight behind. It's been years since we have seen this place and it's still beautiful. I see people going in and out of the house which would only be Kai's I assume. As soon as we stop the car is rushed with women grabbing our bags, opening our doors. Like if we were some celebrity on the red carpet.

"Hello Luna, Beta, and Gamma, Alpha Kai had to go back on a quick trip. So you have me I'm Beta Camille of the Dark Moon Pack" she says.

Man this girl is beautiful I wonder how the Alpha handles that, I think to myself.

"Hello I'm Yairi" I introduce myself.

"It is nice to meet you Luna Yairi" she shakes my hand.

"I'm sorry, Luna" I question.

"I'm sorry are you not the mate of Alpha Zadrian if I am mistaken please accept my apology" she responds.

"No he is my mate" I answer more to myself.

"Ahhh ok so you are the Luna, it's quite complicated I know" she laughs out.

"I'm Yanin" she says shaking Camille's hand.

"And you must be Gamma William's mate, correct" she asks.

"That is correct" Yanin answers.

"Hello Camille it's been a long time" Michelle gives her a hug.

"So it has" she looks at Michelle beaming. "It's just so hard to call you Beta when I know damn well you are Alpha Michelle of the Mystic Moon. Oh times have changed since then, let's get you guys settled in a room. I have someone here who can help us and is waiting to have her say."

"Of course" Michelle answers.

Three young women come in and show us to our rooms. My room has the perfect view of the mountains it's amazing to see this again.

"I'm going to take a bath, do I have time" I link to Michelle and Yanin.

"Oo that sounds amazing" Yanin answers.

"Yes, just be ready in a hour" Michelle says.

It crazy how my stuff is already in the room put away in the drawers and closets. Before I get in I take a look around the room. It has a queen size bed with gold and burgundy bedding. Gold tule hanging off the canopy like a mosquito net. The windows open up to a balcony and directly pointed to the mountains you can see the snow on the peaks. Even though it is warm right here the mountain still has snow. I walk over to the dresser and grab my clothes and head to the bathroom. The bathroom is beautiful white marble with gold trim and gold faucets. I don't even want to take a bath now for fear of making a mess. I take a quick bath remembering I cant stay in here forever even though I would like to. I get ready and meet Yanin in the hall. We are instructed to meet in Meeting Hall A. As soon as we walk in we are met with Beta Camille and a unknown woman.

"My name is Stephanie, and I think I can help" she says.

Stephanie POV

"My name is Stephanie, and I think I can help" I say mustering up the last bit of courage I can find. All three of them just looking at me suspiciously. I am unsure to continue so I look at Camille her soft eyes assure me it's ok.

"About 5 years ago I came across 3 pups covered in soot and blood. Not their blood I might add but completely disoriented. I tried asking their names and none of them could remember anything. I named them Alessa, Ans, and Aly. All three are amazing girls and I did my best with them for two years before they were taken from me."

"What do you mean taken" the one with purple eyes asks.

"Alpha John and his Luna Kelly, of the Great Wolf Pack, nothing great about them I might add" I continue. "He and his wife came about three years ago and took them from me. They wanted to kill me in front of them until Aly said they would go. Since then I have been watching them from a distance. But lately Alessa keeps coming later and later. Usually limping and trying to hide tears, I want to run to her but I don't want her hurt more. But the other night she didn't come home at all I got worried and I went in their cabin. Ans said that she was called to the Alpha office and she told them not to wait. But when she didn't come home they were beyond scared. I just couldn't take them with me without knowing where she is. I don't want them hurting or killing her" I answer.

"How old are these girls" the one with green eyes asks me.

"I thought they were 16 but Ans and Aly said that Alessa got her wolf on her birthday" I say.

"s**t Aunt Michelle we have to go get her" the one with red eyes yells.

"We can't just yet we have to wait for Kai" the one they called Michelle says.

"This is bullshit and you know it" screamed the purple eyed girl.

"Stephanie, you said your name was, what color eyes does Alessa have" Michelle asks.

"They are a deep green, almost like the forest, not as bright as yours" I answer.

"She's part of earth" Michelle whispers to herself.

"I'm sorry but what does her eyes have to do with Alessa and if you don't mind me asking who are you to these girls" I finally ask.

"I'm sorry we are being rude my name is Michelle, Beta of the Mystic Moon Pack" Michelle answers.

"I'm Yairi, Luna of the Mystic Moon Pack" Yairi says.

"And I'm Yanin, Gamma of the Mystic Moon Pack" Yanin sighs.

"Mystic Moon, isn't that the pack with wolves, cats, and bears" I asked.

"Yes actually my mate is a bear and Yairi's mate is a cat" Yanin answers.

"Wow, I never thought I would get to meet anyone from that pack. Everyone speaks highly of them a few have even died trying to leave to join your pack. We have been told you don't turn anyone away" I say putting my head down.

"We don't" Michelle says with a smile.

"But how do you know these girls and why did you come so quickly" I ask again.

"The one you call Alessa, her real name is Zailey, and she is my daughter. I'm not sure of the other two girls but when I see them I can tell you" Michelle answers with tears filling her eyes. "Zay is a mystic wolf as we are before you and her wolf cried to us for help. We wasted no time on this unknown trip to get here and get her out" she continues.

"I don't understand what's a mystic wolf" I ask.

"We each have our own element that our wolves can control. I am lighting and thunder also considered wind in some cases, Yairi is fire and ash, Yanin is water and ice" she says.

"How exactly can you help us" Yairi asks.

"I know how to get in and out undetected but I can't do it alone. I can't fight them alone and I don't know exactly where Alessa, I mean Zailey, is being held or what her state of being is. I went to find your pack when I ran into Alpha Kai and explained what I knew. Dark Moon was quick to help and we came here shortly after. Then I got notice that you three were headed our way but they didn't say names or your pack. I asked Beta Camille if I could talk to you and she said it would be much needed information" I say to them.

*Phone Rings*

"This is Beta Camille, identify yourself" she answers.

"Camille, it's Alpha Kai, did Michelle make it" Kai asks.

"Yes Alpha, I am sorry for the way I answered" Camille says.

She starts shaking her head while listening very intently.

"Yes I will let them know" she says.

*Call Ends*

"Alpha Kai is about 2 hours away coming back and would like us to meet tomorrow morning at 6am sharp. We will have the details in the morning but for now let's finish up and get some rest" Camille tells us.

"Ok" we all answer in unison.

"Look I fell in love with these girls and I never wanted any harm done to them. This Alpha is cruel and heartless. But I will put my life down for them to give them better if you allow me to help you" I say resting my case.

"We will need all the in and outs we can get and trust me we can handle this pack of wolves easily" Yanin answers.

"I just have one question" Yairi asks.

"I will try to answer" I say.

"Why didn't they take you when they came for the girls" she asks me.

"Alpha John said I was old and useless that he only wanted beautiful women in his pack. That I was nothing but trash that couldn't even get a second look. He would rather see the blood running out of my neck than to have me near his pack" I answer.

"Seems like I am going to enjoy watching his life leave his eyes" Michelle says in a sinister tone.

"Alright ladies, let's get some rest and we will meet in this room tomorrow morning. Remember 6am sharp, don't be late, Kai takes time serious so please don't waste it" Camille tells us.

We all say our good night's and go to our rooms. I really hope they can help these girls I mean it's just them three going after a whole pack. A pack full of killers as well. I should not worry though they know something I don't I just really hope I can help them.

Yanin POV

I make it back to my room and I find it odd that this room is completely for me the light blues of the bedding to the curtains make me feel home. The bathroom is a crystal clear setting even the bathtub is see through. It reminds me of ice and it has a calming effect on me. After that meeting I am glad this room feels like it was built for me.

"Hello my little mist" Ivie comes forward.

"Where have you been" I asked.

"Sweetheart I have been with Teghan trying to calm her down" she answers.

"What is wrong with Teghan" I ask.

"After she reached out to us she can no longer return to Zay. Like there is something blocking her from finding her. She feels her pain and knows she alive but the pain is unbearable. With that she knows that Zay is not healing and is more than likely in agony" she answers sadly.

"They said Kai will be here in the morning hopefully we can get moving. Also would she be able to help us if we get in" I answer.

"No, but she said only me, Phoenix, and Meridian can smell her if we are close enough" she says.

"Then what" I ask.

"We will discuss a signal in the morning with all three of us together. Get some rest little mist these next few days will be terrible" she answers. I feel her recoil and lay down for sleep. I jump in my bed and let sleep take over me. Until the morning is all I keep telling myself about this unknown trip.
