Alessia’s Pov I stumbled out of the bathroom, my heels clicking against the marble floor, trying to push the sounds of what I’d just heard out of my mind. My skin still felt hot, and my thoughts were a chaotic mess of shame, intrigue, and longing. The air outside was cool, but it did little to calm the storm raging within me. I needed to leave, I thought, searching the room for Luca. It didn’t take long to find him. He emerged from the same restroom that I had stumbled out of, his dark hair slightly tousled, his shirt unbuttoned just enough to reveal the tanned skin beneath.
