Lance read the message again with a growing feeling of panic. She had told Yulia? And Yulia wanted to talk to him? Lance couldn’t imagine this being a good thing. Still, he replied to the message saying that he could be there in a couple of hours; at least it might bring him some sort of closure if she told him that she never wanted to see him again.
Another downside to this he realised, was that it had also ignited a little flame of hope inside him. Now she knew, she might actually accept it, and if she could accept it then maybe she could accept him…
