AftermathHurricane Jill met most meteorologists' expectations. The storm hit Atlantic City directly and toppled a few buildings that were already slated for toppling by urban developers. Only four deaths and a few minor injuries were reported as a direct result of the winds and rain. Once the hurricane made landfall, it quickly lost its potency.
