27 Lorcan awoke and found his chest bandaged and his arm in a sling. He shook his head. “You’ve got to be kidding me, Riley.” He got up and pulled his arm out of the sling, put on his wrist unit, and went downstairs. “You’re butchering me!” Riley’s voice shot to the hallway from the living room. Lorcan found Keeva cleaning up the gashes on his arms. The wolf had left quite a few bites on Riley even after it had been tranquilized. “Stay still, Riley.
