Chapter 2

Nathan's POV

After a long, tiring 40 minutes drive, I finally arrive at Stanford's parking lot.

I slowly opened the door and stepped out of the car, I looked at the building before me and smiled, so I was going to attend here for 4 years ,wasn't that bad.

"Hey" someone greets , startling me and causing me to loose my balance .

I turned around and saw her , she had a sculpted figure which was twine - thin. A pair or arched eyebrows looked down on sweeping eyelashes, she had a glossy skin, molten red hair.

She had the most beautiful smile I had ever seen with shiny halo - white teeth.

"Hi " I finally reply ,straightening my posture.

"Lisa" it's nice to meet you she introduces herself and holds out her arms for me to shake

I look down at it before putting my attention back to her face.

" Uhmmm" , Nathan I smile finally taking her arms and shaking it twice before letting go .

" could you please re park "?she asked with a friendly smile.

I turned around and saw that I was parked in front of a car black Toyota which I guess belonged to her.

" oh, I'm sorry I'm moving it now "

"Hey babe , come on let's go" a guy came up from behind her holding her and kissed her cheek.

why the hell was he kissing her?

i pulled out of my inner conversation when I noticed that I was still staring at them like an i***t.

"Who is that"? The guy asked

" this is Nathan, I was asking him to move his car so that we can drive out"

"Hi" I said waving towards the dude.

"Nathan this is Kevin, my boyfriend" Lisa said

"Well could you please move the car now"? Kevin asked with a hostile tone

I got into the car and parked somewhere else, I saw Lisa and Kevin drive away.

I hoped I'd never see Kevin again, but I wanted to see Lisa, she was drop dead gorgeous,

I was wondering what she was doing with that Kevin guy. I got down from my car and entered the building,which was crowded with a lot of students.

I went to grab my schedules, dorm number and keys.

Dorm room 318.

When I got Into my room I saw a girl sitting on one of the beds , she had a typical Gothic fashion a coloured black hair and black period - style clothing and of course she had dark eye liner on.

I knew that couldn't be my roommate so from what I was guessing she was a friend to my roommate.

" sup "she looked up from her phone and came towards me.

You must be Tom's new roommate she said stretching out her hands to shake me.

" yeah I'm Nathan"I answered returning back the handshake.

"I'm Sophie" she said and returned back to the bed .

I took a deep breath and shut the door that was behind me, I walked over to the bed that seemed free and sat down on it.

I layed down on my back and stared at the ceiling. My silence was cut short when I heard the door open.

I saw a guy walk into the room, now that must be Tom my roommate.

He  was muscular,in good shape ,I wouldn't want to get on his nerves.

"Hey , I'm Tom" he said throwing me a playful punch on my arm. It reminded  me of Emma, I missed her already

"Ouch, I'm Nathan " I said rubbing my arm.

"I'm sorry , just excited" Tom said turning around and facing Sophie.

"I see you have met my girlfriend" Tom sat beside Sophie on the bed and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

I went back to my car to get my things, I had a lot of unpacking to do. I got all my things to my room and started getting things in place. When I got to my room I saw Tom and Sophie making out. " I hope I wouldn't have to deal with this throughout my stay here"

They didn't even stop when I got into the room.

I went straight to my bed and opened my box that was filled with books, I looked at my school schedule and arranged my books accordingly.

After 30 minutes of unpacking I finally decided to have a short nap. Tom and Sophie were done with their make out session and were already fast asleep

I was glad that was over. I picked up my phone and texted Emma before taking a nap.

When I woke up, I noticed I was alone in the room, and it was evening , I was starving.

Picked up my phone to check if there was a message from Emma. Yes there was a message and it wasn't a good one.

Nathan did you know about Dad? Did you know he had another family?

My Mom told me about my father about 2 weeks ago, I wanted to tell Emma but my mom wanted to tell her herself.

I know the hatred and anger Emma has towards my Dad .

I decided to call her.

The phone rang for a while before she finally picked it up.

"Hello Emma"

"Nathan did you know?" I could hear the sadness in her voice and it broke my heart

"Yes Emma I knew about it" I didn't know what to say anymore.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Look , I wanted to but I couldn't, there is no reason to be sad Emma be glad that mom is finally going to get a divorce from Dad" 

"Yeah you're right and please never call that man my Dad" she said and hung up the phone.

I didn't like it when Emma was all sad, I tried calling her back to calm her down but she wasn't answering the phone.

I realized I was still starving, I went to the cafeteria to get something to eat.
