MASHA Nik's phone buzzed insistently, cutting through the tension in the car like a hot knife in butter. We were driving to go and meet my wedding planner and since mama couldn't come with me, I had to beg Nik to drive me. Since Matt always made me depend on him, I never thought of learning to drive so whenever he wasn't around, I'd resort to using a taxi instead.
