MASHA Ivan, who was standing beside me, took my hand gently and led me away from the scene, his fingers strong and steady around mine. As we walked, the world around us faded away. It felt like we were the only two people in the world. Ivan leaned in, his lips brushing against my ear as he whispered, his tone playful yet full of promise it made my skin tingle. “Hurry,” he said, a mischievous grin tugging at the corners of his lips. “People are waiting to start the wedding night celebrations.” The warmth of his lips sent a shiver down my spine, and for the first time in so long, I felt truly at peace. The chaos of the past, the pain, the betrayal, the lies was finally behind me. And in its place, there was only a future filled with love and possibility Ivan never let go of my hand
