Summer slapped a palm over her mouth to stifle her voice. She slipped back against the wall and shut her eyes, waiting for the woman to pass. The scene played out in her mind and still she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
Adam slid down to the floor, a clenched fist against his forehead and he sobbed hard. The sight was enough to make her chest shake in shock. The woman that passed was his mother.
