The three wolves stand off to the left as Alpheus slowly walks forward. Caspian pushes me further behind him and growls. Alpheus seems rather unamused at Caspian’s attempt to protect me. Alpheus’s massive structure makes the three others look like pups as they bow down to him as he passes.
I got on my toes and peeked over Caspian's shoulder. I stare at the black abyss of his eyes that are centered on Caspian. I see Alpheus getting ready to pounce, but before I could get a word out, I watch in terror as Alpheus jumps at Caspian.
Caspian launches forward and punches Alpheus to the ground, I hear the c***k of Alpheus’s jaw bone snap out of place. Caspian had his back turned to the other three light brown wolves and I saw one start to charge.
