I had been helping Alex do all of the pack business as he chose me to be his beta. Ever since Serena disappeared that day she has been acting differently. She didn’t engage with anyone. Alex was falling apart and put me in charge of making sure all the pack members avoided Serena while she was upset. It was so out of character for her. I wanted to talk to her, but I was also under alpha’s orders to stay as far away from her as possible. Xavier growled *Something is wrong with Luna *

I sighed. Maybe she is just overwhelmed, that was probably it. The border guards mind linked me that Alex had passed them, going for a run.
