CHAPTER FOUR Jarek -- POINT OF VIEW The sound of a car makes me frown. No one knows I’m back. Only my family does. From afar, I can smell her. Calla. I groan because I’m not in the mood to entertain her shenanigans right now. There’s a reason I’m here, removed from the chaos of the Pack. Building this house took sweat and time, but I’ve never regretted it. Now, I do. I shouldn’t have told her where to find me. My Wolf prowls in me, and I realise she’s not alone. A vaguely familiar smell fills my nostrils, and I stiffen. Bambi. f*****g Bambi. I thought she would have faded away by now, but she’s still here. My fangs ache painfully,y and my wolf is restless. I’ve always had this visceral reaction to her, to the weak and pitiful Omega, but what was I supposed to do with it? She’s an Omega, and I’m the Alpha’s son. An Alpha. Soon, I’ll be King, and she isn’t fit to be near me, but for some reason, my sister is bringing her here. Easily, I jump to the ground and feel everything. The car stops, and Finn steps out. He’s one of my loyal soldiers. His head is on the line if something ever happens to Calla. She’s a pest, but she’s still my sister. Calla steps out and runs to me. I am distracted by the timid and pathetic woman behind her. She’s a woman now with full hips and a perky chest, but she’s timid and pathetic. “Brother!” Calla smiles and hugs me. She jerks back immediately, disgusted, “Why are you so sweaty?” “I was working out. What do you want? Why’s she here?” I demand, cutting to the chase. “She’s Bambi, my best friend, and you know her. I’m here to ask for a favour. She needs somewhere to stay for a couple of weeks and --” “No.” I cut in coldly. “You haven’t even heard what I have to say.” She glares at me. “The answer remains the same. Now, get off my property.” I snap, my heart pounding with every moment Bambi spends here. My wolf is hungry, and she’s dinner. I’ve held back for over ten years, but her presence here doesn’t help. “You owe me, Jarek. Remember?” She glares at me. I look at her, and my nose flares. I do owe her. She made a sacrifice for me. I’ve been waiting for her to call in the favour, but she hasn’t, until now. “Why don’t we have a nice conversation, while Finn takes Bambi in? She’s exhausted. We all are.” She chose her words carefully. She’s the only one allowed to manipulate me. I don’t respond, but she knows she has got me. “Take Bambi in, Finn. Get her something to drink. We’ll just be a minute.” She says. “Yes, ma’am.” Finn nods and leads Bambi into my home. I stiffen as she walks past me. Blood rushes through my ears, and my fang grow heavier. Once they’re gone, I glare at Calla, “Speak.” “Her boyfriend has been cheating on her with Lea Bones, her high school bully. We caught them on her parents’ bed, and to make matters worse, they’re getting married, and Lea is pregnant. We thought that was all, until we got a call from the bank. Apparently, someone took a seventy grand loan in her name, and now, her house is on the line. She has nowhere to stay, and you know she can’t stay with me.” She explains, but I don’t care. “How’s this my business, Calla? I’m here for solitude, not running a charity. You need to leave.” I am cold and rude. “Come on, she’s humiliated enough. Apparently, half the Pack knew about the wedding and no one thought to tell her. I hate James so much. He’s disgusting --” I frown, “James? James Vinson? The beta’s son?” “Yes, him. He’s the worst. He has been using her all along, and had the effrontery to mock her s****l preference, talked about how she loved to be humiliated and degraded, as if anyone cares about that. He cheated on her, lied to her and stole from her. I’m going to make him pay. He has to burn for what he did to her. Just let her stay here for a while till we figure out the bank thingy.” She begs. I’m intrigued already. James Vinson is her scum of an ex, and more importantly, she likes to be humiliated and degraded. Jackpot. “She can stay.” I decide. Her eyes widens and she almost hugs me, “I’d hug you,u but you’re so sweaty, so no. Thank you, though. You’re the best!” Then, she runs into the house. I stand out for a moment. The road I’m about to embark on isn’t the best, but at least I finally get to let the beast out on Bambi, the bane of my existence and object of my lust. I walk in and see her in disbelief. “You can leave now,” I say to Calla. She’s confused, but knows not to push me. “Alright. I’ll see you in the morning, Bambi. Try to get some sleep and call me if something happens.” They hug each other. Finn leads Calla out and nods at me. I wait for the car to drive off before turning to Bambi. She’s petite. I’ll swallow her whole. She has large hips and full breasts to complement her size, though. Her skin is smooth like milk, and her cheeks are rosy. She’s so clean and beautiful. I am going to enjoy tainting her innocence. “Thank you so much for letting me stay here. I assure you, you won’t notice me. I’ll be out of your ears soon. I don’t want to bore you with details, but this means the world to me. Thank you, Jarek.” She gushes. I shake my head, “I want something in return, and you will give me.” She frowns and nods, “Of course, anything you want.”
