Cursed Bride

Chapter 6

Ryan was leaning against his black lamborghini , dressed in black shirt and light blue denim, his black hair set back and ice cold eyes were hidden under the sunglasses he wore. he looked handsome even in the usual casual clothes and he knew it.

Ryan had never thought that he ever would wait for someone like the way he was doing from past fifteen minutes but the girl was more interested in books than him.

Ryan when came here the first thing he felt was anger. she had rejected his invitation to visit a goddamned book store? he couldn't believe it! girl would die to go out with him and here she was inside a book store.

Ariel came out after a while, holding a paper bag with few books inside. Ryan observed her as she was lost in her own thoughts yet she managed to walked gracefully like a princess.

Ryan noticed her outfit; a black tight crop top and a light blue loose high waisted jeans. he smirked as they both were wearing same color, twinning even without knowing. her hair loose as always dancing with wind as she walked, those ocean blue eyes shining in the sun light and those pink plum lips and Ryan felt like she was getting more beautiful every time he looked at her.

Ryan kept looking at her, she seemed to enjoy her own company and then it happened, she lifted her gaze up and her eyes met his; warm ocean blue shining against his cold ice blue.

Ariel's breath hitched as soon as she located him and her hold on the paper bag she was carrying tightened unconsciously.

she looked around and there was not much people and she gulped in fear, looking down she started moving fastly to where her car was.

Ryan watched her confused, she first started to walk fastly and then after a step or two she literally started to run. he chuckled at her childlike tactics and without wasting any second he ran after her too and by now he reached her. she was trying to unlock her car.

Ariel threw her books inside instantly and was about to get in her car but a hand grabbed her hand, stopping her in her track.

"you are coming with me, sweetheart" his voice held authority making her shiver involuntary.

"no I won't!" Ariel struggled against him "I don't want to go anywhere with you" she stubbornly said.

"Ariel!" Ryan said in a hushed voice "don't make me repeat myself" he warned as he started to drag her to his car.

"no! let go of me now!" Ryan tightened his grip when she started to struggle to release herself from his grip.

he dragged her making sure he wasn't hurting her and stop before his car and opened the door for Ariel "get in" he said calmly eyeing her.

"no I won't!" she protested provoking him even more "as you wish, sweetheart" he muttered softly and pushed her inside in a swift move making her gasp in shock.

"you just didn't-" Ryan shut the car door cutting her off in the middle and the child lock was on. he walked to his side and get in and started the driving.

"where are you taking me!" Ariel shouted and Ryan felt like his ears were going to bleed if she kept screaming like a madwoman.

"I could hear you just fine Ariel!" he spoke irritatedly "there is no need for you to scream!"

"then tell me where are you taking me!" Ariel started slowly at first but then ended but screaming again and Ryan groaned in annoyance.

"you will know soon and now shut up let me focus on driving" Ryan answered making her angry.

"let me focus on driving" Ariel mimicked in annoyance and turned her face face away, looking out of the window.

Ariel felt like every tree and building was trying to chase her but all seems to left behind and she felt like how this was all smililar to life. In life we try to chase many dreams, people and hope but in the end we always left behind with shattered dreams, memories of people and another hope that may be next time. a hope was all she had now that she would escape this man as her dream of perfect wedding had already shattered by this cruel man and Ariel knew that she would never be able to forget what Ryan did to her and to her family.

the screeching sound of tyres brought Ariel out of her trance and when she looked at his side, he had already stepped out of the car and rushed to her side, opening her door he held out his hand for her.

Ariel stared at him for a second and then looked down at her laps, ignoring him completely.

"Ariel come out" he said softly but she shook her head stubbornly. she didn't wanted to go anywhere with him.

"I won't!" she hissed at him "I want to go h-ahh" and Ryan grabbed her arm swiftly pulling her out of the car.

"behave yourself Ariel" Ryan snarled at her intertwiwing his hand with her he whispered in her ear "or else I would not let you go home tonight" Ariel gulped down the lump that had formed in her throat due to his words.

"now come" he started walking and Ariel silently followed him this time and noticed they were entering the best designer house of the town. Ariel had read so much about it and their newly launched wedding dress collection had smitten her, she had already selected a dress to wear on her wedding with Ian but due to Ryan they had to rush things.

"welcome Mr. Armando" a lady greeted him with a big smile on her face which was soon replaced by a frown as she noticed Ariel beside him and what surprised her more was the way they were holding each other's hand.

Ariel uncomfortably shifted on her heels when she found that woman eyes on her and Ryan noticed it "show us the best wedding gown you have" he ordered and Ariel wondered how on earth someone's voice could hold this much authority.

"wedding gown?" she asked confused looking at him "for who?"

"obviously for you, Ariel!" Ryan could never understand this girl that had smitten him, he thought she would like that he had taken her out for her wedding shopping but she had to behave stupid.

Ariel didn't said anything because she knew if she open her mouth then she would definitely spill all the beans out, she looked away biting her tongue and suppressing the urge to tell him that she would never marry an arrogant man like him.

the lady walked them inside and showed them the best design they had and despite how beautiful they all were, Ariel didn't even gave any of them a second glance. she wasn't interested in any dress or wedding unless it's to her Ian.

"did you like anything?" Ryan asked as his eyes searched something that could catch his attention.

"if I say no" Ariel turned around looking at him and saying slowly so that no one could heard what they were talking about "would you force me to choose a gown too?" Ariel innocently battled her eye lashes at him.

"well since you are tired of me being forcing you then I could choose one for you and this way you will wear my choice" Ryan gave her a smirk and pointed at the gown he liked for her.

"I don't like it" it was a beautiful gown with sweet heart neckline with off the shoulder look that had some pearl embedded on the upper half and and a cathedral train falls from waist. it was exquisite and screamed riches.

"try it Ariel!" he stressed on her name, warning her to not to cross him here.

"I won't and since you liked it this much why don't you try it yourself!" Ariel shouted loosing control on her sharp tongue grabbing every workers attention in the boutique.

"should have expected the same from a middle class girl" Ryan taunted "have you ever in your wildest dream had thought that you would get to wear something so expensive?" Ryan hissed at her grabbing her arm roughly insulting her just like she had done seconds ago.

every person respected him and this girl despite the warning insulted him by shouting at him while Ariel felt humiliated when he insulted her background like this, no one in her life have ever raised her voice on her but this man did that again and again and now he had cleary crossed the limit.

Ariel just kept looking at him and at the finger he had pointed on her, his cold demeanour petrified her and she felt her eyes getting glossy and she quickly pry his hand off and ran out as the tears started to streamed down her cheeks.

Ariel, no matter how rude and disrespectful towards him but in the reality she was no less than a scared kitten. she had just kept that facade on of being a wolf when in reality she was a lamb. her heart was soft and delicate and every little thing hurt her badly; she was very sensitive.

Ariel was running when her hand was grabbed by Ryan who ran to chase her right away she left.

"where do you think you are going?" he asked trying to suppress his anger for the little stunt she had pulled inside.

Ariel didn't moved to face him, she didn't wanted to let him know that his words had hurt her "trying to escape a spoilt rich brat" Ariel sneered and almost instantly she was turned around by Ryan, her face facing him.

Ryan almost felt a tugged on his heart when he looked at her tear stained face and he wondered if his words were that harsh. he slowly moved closer snaking an arm around her waist and with other he wiped her tears away while she struggled to get herself free.

"I am a spoil brat hmm?" Ryan huskily whispered in her ear as his nose caressed her rosy cheeks and his hand drew circle on her waist "leave me!" Ariel said hitting his chest, she was getting uncomfortable with the close intimacy of their bodies together.

"let m-" and his lips were on her lips, shutting her off to say anything further. Ariel's body went numb her mind refused to function and she was in utter shock; too shock to even understand what was happening.

Ryan didn't knew what compelled him to kiss her but when he looked at those quivering pink lips he just couldn't resist the urge to touched them with his own.

it took few seconds for Ariel to come out of her shock and she felt his demanding and hungry lips on her. she felt disgusted and tried to pull away but couldn't as his another hand was holding her in place. he kissed her dominantly and forcefully and when Ariel found him seeking entrance in her mouth she lost it and pushed him hard with all her strength and as soon as Ryan was pushed back almost instantly a loud sound of slap echoed in their ear.

"how dare you to kiss me! you bloody p*****t!" Ryan slowly touched his cheek where she had just slapped her, not believing it at all but he knew that he was being slapped although it rarely had any strength to hurt him but it was enough to hurt his ego and the expression of disbelief and shock in his eyes soon transformed into fury and rage when he realized that this mere girl had slapped him.

"how dare you!" Ryan said in a murderous tone as he grabbed her hairs in a fist and tugged it harshly making her yelp in pain "what do you think of yourself!" he hissed and she cried in pain that just made him to tighten his grip on her hair.

"do you have any idea who you have just slapped?" he snarled angrily at her and Ariel felt like she saw a Satan in him; ruthless and cruel.

"let go!" she whimpered in pain and fear as she regretted slapping him.

"no one had dared to look me in the eyes and you just slapped me!" Ryan dug his fingers in her waist making her to hiss in pain.

"p-please it hurts" Ariel pleaded as the tears of pain and helplessness fell from her eyes, she couldn't stand his abuse, she was too fragile for his cruel ways.

"and why would I do that" Ryan asked, his eyes held anger and they were as red as of devil's and she shivered in fear; the look on his face was dreadful.

"i-its hurts" Ariel said crying and looked down "you are h-hurting me"

Ryan just kept looking at her for few minutes while the girl in his grip cry silently due to pain and fear and when he thought that it was enough, he loosened his grip however he was still furious but he just didn't wanted to hurt her anymore.

"you deserved this" he said grabbing her hand and then dragging her to his car and harshly threw her in and this time he didn't even bothered to lock her because he knew she was too scared to even move.

Ariel kept sobbing, this was the harshest someone had ever treated her, she wasn't used to such treatment while Ryan started to drive, his grip on steering wheel was so tight due to anger that his knuckles had turned white.

"would you keep quite" Ryan shouted irritating with her sniffs and sobs, he was trying to calm himself but those sounds were reminding him that she was here and a part of him wanted to punish her severely.

Ariel almost put her both hands on her mouth, stopping any sound to come out but the shivering of her body didn't seemed to get in her control.

Ryan halted his car in front of her house and Ariel looked at him, not saying anything but seeking his permission to go back through her eyes and when he didn't looked at her she knew she must leave and quietly went out, closing the door silently and turning her back she ran as fast as she could, never looking back.

Ryan didn't move for a while, he was fuming with anger and the fact that Ariel didn't even bothered to apologize pissed him more and he decided he would teach her some lessons to respect him soon and left with clenched jaw.
