Upon reaching the cafeteria, Adrian asks me, “How do you put up with this? Don’t you feel like giving up at times?”
“Often, I think about quitting. However, I know that I cannot change my situation if I’d always stay stuck like this. I need to change my circumstances,” I speak nervously. “After all that you’ve heard just now from Voss, will you still be my friend?”

“Nothing. I’m fine,” I lie even when I’m starving. I left for Tutelage in a hurry and couldn’t have my breakfast.
