I saw the knife on Cedar’s side straight away and I knew that Carla had seen it as well, but there was nothing I could do to stop her using it because there were no rules in these fights. I watched as Carla stiffened slightly, then she relaxed and I knew right away that she had a plan. I watched as they circled each other, waiting to see who would attack first and then Cedar lunged forward. She swung a few punches and then did a round kick, hitting Carla in the stomach and causing her to drop to her knees. Carla was only down for a couple of seconds, catching her breath and then she got back up and did a swing kick, hitting Cedar in the head and forcing her head to jerk back.
