I barely remembered being carried back to the castle. I woke up and fell asleep constantly, living my life in pieces. I was on the back of a large black wolf. I drank something sour. Wendy was there. Mordecai's hand was petting my head. I shifted back to human at one point.
When I woke up and could stay awake, Wendy was wringing out a towel and wiping my head again. The water was really cold.
“That's so cold. No more." I was whining, but after getting beat up by a bear shifter, I'm allowed to whine.
“Your fever only now broke. Stop being a baby." Wendy was back to her usual mean self. I pushed her hand away and got up from my bed. “Hey! Be careful with your wounds!" She pushed me back down, surprising me with just how strong she was.
“Let me up, Wendy. I want to sit up." I didn't know
